We have been there in dec.07 and wanted to stay just 1 hour. Finally we went in @8 and went out @midnight. We were a group of 6 people and drunk a what they call ´kalt ente´ which means ´cold duck´. Whatever, it was the best thing I´ve ever drunken after beer. By the way they offer great beer also. We drunk the Ente out of a huge wineglass. They said its ´5 liter´. Don´t know but I guess it was way MORE THAN A GALLON!
We ate some franconian cheese (´grapfter´ somthing) which was fantastic and had some great Bratwurstel. The host even started playing guitar and we sang some songs. What a great Night! A place to visit for sure when u are in Bamberg, one of the most loveliest towns ever.
