Friendly, comfortable hotel in the centre of Innsbruck. Great base for a ski holiday, you’ve the city centre for sightseeing and food, complementary hotel breakfast is great, there is a free bus pickup to any of the 9 ski centres around Innsbruck and when you get back there is a free sauna and steam room. Great place.

A supermarket with a proper butcher and fishmonger and a hot deli counter that serves Scollan’s sit-down restaurant. The food is basic Irish menu but fresh ingredients and big portions at a reasonable price. Quick service too because it’s all from the deli.

Traditional pub with a chef who does impress. The menu is simple and well balanced and the food matched up to expectations and it’s all at a reasonable price. The staff are informal and genuinely friendly, I like this place.

Difficult to add more to what's already been said about this totally unique, vibrant cafe on the 1st floor of Foyles, overlooking Charing Cross Road. They serve one of the finest coffees in London, a selection of cakes and nibbles and feature great jazz music, frequently live on their stage for free. Check Time Out for listings of musicians scheduled.

If you fancy pizza in the West End then this is one of the best value and quality places for a proper Italian pizza and espresso.

Bargain Chinese food at all times of the day. Go for the £3.55 dishes on the menu, they are good satisfying portions and the same price all day. That means you can have a really good dinner for a fiver here!
