this is a must go and take the kids kind place, its used alot by schools
has farm animals a viking village and a nice cafe with out door seating.
its not a full days visit as it can be walked around in a couple of hours
reason why i remember this place is the ducks???
my step son, was no great lover of animals, even my pet rabbit use to bully him, bless
but we sat at the cafe outside and watched on, as he discovered that lonely chicken was frightened of him, so he chased it about, and we thought, aww bless his over coming his fear!
this continued till the chicken basically got fed up and ran behind the sheds?
so off went the brave step son out of sight….....seconds later, out he ran, with the look of complete terror on his little face, as the other chickens, geese and ducks ganged up to chase down the one that had been, bullying there mate!
moments like these with children make it all the more worth while taking them out!
told step son, we’ll have chicken for sunday dinner, to cheer him up.
and soon after step son took up running!
