They are fraud … Please keep your deposit receipts. When you will be leaving the flat, they will say that you never given the deposit and try to eat that money. If you do not have receipt of deposit then you are screwed …
When they tried to eat my deposit as i lost my receipts thinking that they will not do such a cheap thing, I contacted Edinburgh council and they said that they are most bad reputed agents in Edinburgh. Then they advised me to contact Citizen Advice Bereau and they advised me to drag them to small claims court … I got my deposit back but it was not full as they said that flat was dirty and they charged me £120 for that … Flat was clean when I left … I asked them to show me receipts but they said they will show today or tomorrow … at the end i had to say you keep this … still they eaten £120 ….
cpmedinburgh You are taking me to court? If you are due deposit then you will have been paid this back if left the property?
Please make an appointment to discuss, rather than airing your non substantiate views on here? I would think it only fair.
