Me and the other half love this place. We used to go every saturday for breakfast but we as everyone else have had to cut down but yesterday we were in town and felt hungry as it was diner so we went to the Cosey Corner Cafe. The service is friendly and first class and so is the food.
For those of you who want decent hot food from breakfast to sunday diners then you will not go wrong if you pop into here. the food, service and staff are all first class. Well recommended 100%

When the right members of staff are on this place gets 100% from me but when you have who is on today, the service and food is poor. I have enough points on my sub card to get a free 6inch sub but she never said i could get it and charged me full price and when i said i wanted to use my points she said i would have to ‘do it next time as its too late I has done till’ and i also had to ask for extra toppings and sauce when usually it is offered. But having said that I do love the sandwiches they make, just need to see what some of there younger staff are like, that is the only let down.

I really love this fruit & veg shop as it just takes me back to being a child, the look, the smell and the fantastic personal service. You get to actually see what you are buying and choose how many you want not have to buy a bag of 6 when you only want 1 and then it goes to waste. We need to support and use this fruit & veg shop as he is one of the only ones left. I find it far better than supermarkets as you can have a little chat with the grocer and he will give you hints and tips on the best way to cook it. Go in and get your sunday veg or better still, go in and order what you will need for the big christmas dinner, parsnips, brussels, nice local potatoes, he has it all so go and take a look. I went in last year with a voucher from Journal and got my parsnips for free and they were lovely :)

I always use this pharmacy because I can do my shopping while I wait for the prescription to be made up. The only thing I would say is if you do not have to do any shopping then you could be waiting up to 30 minuets or more and with limited space in the actual pharmacy this can get a little claustrophobic, but al in all you get a smile and friendly service and if you do need any help and advice then the staff are happy to help. I recommend Asda Pharmacy and the price is not bad either which is all good in these tough times.

Hi, i went shopping today at Asda. we went in to get a few bits such as milk, bread etc. I had a voucher for a new line in Hovis Bread called ‘Homebake’. As we got to the self service tills I asked the lady there how I would use the voucher. she looked at the voucher and then looked at the ‘Hovis Homebake Granary Rolls’ I had got with my voucher which in big blue writing said at the top ‘Try New Hovis Homebake for FREE’. At first she said very loudly that we was not entitled to a freebie. I said that we was as that’s what the voucher says at the top, look. She then picked up the rolls we had and said,’ that’s not what your allowed’. I said yes it is as it says that too on the voucher and pointed to it. She throw the rolls back in the basket and proceeded at lighting speed to put in numbers. We thanked her and she strutted off.
We shop in asda all the time and have found some issues in the past with rudeness or un helpfulness but never had a place to air my view.

Not all staff are bad though, there is some really nice people there like the cigarette counter they are always nice and polite, even when rushed.

I must totally disagree with you about McDonalds in Grantham unfortunately.

I find the service slow and almost every time I get a Cappuccino I have to take it back as it is half full or even though I will be asked if I would like chocolate on top and I say ‘Yes please’ I always have to ask them to put chocolate on top.

Also, when I go to get suger and sauces you can bet your bottom doller that someone (staff) will want to get into the cupboard underneth. Just last week when I had bought a Cappuccino I was shoved to the point where I turned around to the lady and said should I move, she looked and gruntted at me. So I moved a side, she went into the cupboard for nothing I might add and shuffled off. OMG, I just had to laugh.

The food is o.k though :)
