Avoid !

Now known as weir lounge.  Used to be a sweaty club with cheap drinks.  Now a sweaty club with expensive drinks and entry.  £7 Most nights.  A large number of the people there seem to be there for a fight & if that's what you're looking for then it's a in a great, isolated location.  Otherwise, avoid it at all costs.

This "church" is an extension of city harvest church Singapore. It is completely unregulated by any sort of governing body, this is a cause of concern for me. They are a registered charity, at the time of writing they do not hold tax exempt status, this means they are run more like a business than a church (warning bells).

They appear to prey on the weak willed, and people who have led a colourful life. My friend joined last year, and the change in personality is disturbing to say the least. He used to be the life and soul of the party, now however he seems very intolerant of people who do not believe absolutely in the word of god and divinity of the bible as a TRUE story.

The services themselves are very transcendental, utilising music and prayer as a kind of spiritual tool for moulding changes in people. I do not think the change i see in my friend is for the better, it feels like they have joined a cult.

I haven't had my nails done in a very long time but something as simple as a file and paint made them look amazing!! I highly recommend it! It was quiet and relaxing and there was great skill put into the work done there! Friendly and welcoming :)

This hotel is worse than your worst nightmare! Prepare for a complete a***ole receptionist who will be rude, cheeky, arrogant, and full of crap. This bastard will deliberately extort money from you by forcing you into taking a double room which you do not want [as a single person]. Anyhow, he does not settle with that and will screw you whenever you need something. i.e. your GBP 50/night double-room is next to the kitchen, so you cannot get any sleep as people are walking there. Tell the receptionist you want a different room because of this problem and he says "Tomorrow!  / You can come back later / I am busy right now." etc. It takes a lot of arguing with the bastard to do anything. This receptionist also acted like as a** during my checkout as he demanded I return the keys before I could move all items into another hotel. In the middle of my moving, he started cursing at me, obstructed the door, and didn't want to let me finish moving my things. This is why the person below had to call the cops. The thief receptionist is trying to extort even more money! I had to push him away to finish my moving. He was threatening to call the police, etc. Simply the worst possible hotel experience. I paid GBP 100 for 2 nights and couldn't get any sleep because of prostitutes, the kitchen, and paper walls. The rooms were full of mess and hair, everything filthy, disgusting, terrible...utterly terrible!

Don't expect quality, but do expect tat, perhaps an odd item that you need for DIY that saves you buying a pack of 10 for example, or an odd light fitting that saves you buying brand new. But the prices should reflect that, but rather than being half price or less, they're more like only a 10% reduction off the full price. I try and avoid it now, especially as car park is always full due to people using it to shop on the high st. In the past it used to be a great place to pick up a bargain, but it is a shadow of its former self.

Truely and utterly disappointed. I ordered the soup, it came out late and cold. After I told the waitress about it I overheard the chef shouting and swearing about me in the kitchen. I was very upset and wouldn't ever go back

I took my car in to have an MOT test done and I waited on site and watched them perform the test where it was done within a short period. Overall very nice customer service which is something I have thought would be impossible to find in garages.

If you want a change from Chinese, Indian and pizza I highly recommend Momo’s delivery service. (I’ve actually never been to the shop in person.)
The food is great, and a good healthy option compared to other takeways. I recommend their set meals which come with a choice of rice or noodles. Also, the dumplings are amazing!
