I went to Mamounia because I had a voucher from KGB.
I was very much looking forward to take my Moroccan husband there but I was very disappointed.
Waiters were polite, however the food was extremely bland, nothing to do with the rich flavours of North Africa or Middle East, and portions were really tiny.
The place is also far overpriced.

I went into the salon for a manicure. The staff are friendly and professional and the place is very clean.
The manicure is £20 but is the best manicure I ever had.
It lasts about one hour, cuticles are carefully cleaned and nails shaped, than you get a vigorous scrub which will leave your hands very soft.
Colour was applied carefully and lasted nearly two weeks! (although the second time I went it chipped after few days...)
Before and after the treatment, while I was waiting for the polish to dry, I was offered a drink.
When you book, they will also send a text to remind you of the appointment the day before.
I would definitely recommend Evidence Beauty.

I wasn't very happy. When I got there (was my first visit) I was asked if I wanted anything to drink, but then my coffee never arrived.
I had a voucher for 6 sessions of microdermoabrasion, but the treatment was quick and not very accurate, plus the therapist didn't offer to cover up the redness and had to go out although my face was quite red. When I finished, the beautician said she was going to wait for me at reception, but when I got there she kept talking to someone else, didn't book me in for second appointment and didn't reply when I said goodbye!!
Few days later I called to book a second appointment but the lady told me the next appointment was going to be after a month.
I wasn't happy because for what I know microdermoabrasion is not effective if you do it just once a month because of the way the skin regenerates.
All in all, yes, the deal was cheap but I don't think it was worth it.

I went there couple of weeks ago after reading the positive comments on this site and met Gary and Alexis.
It was my first visit and they asked me to fill in a form with allergies and stuff which I found was very professional. The same form was used at the end to record the treatment I had and even the colour of nail polish I used!!
Gary and Alexis are very friendly but not “invasive” (have you ever tried going to have a treatment and having the beautician digging into your personal life?!?), they are professional and Alexis, who did my manicure and pedicure, explained to me step by step what she was doing.
They also offered me a drink, which was very much appreciated, considering I was coming from the other side of town, and a coffee was just what I needed to unwind.
At the end of my treatment I also received a loyalty card on which you get stamps for every £10 spent and, when the card is completed you will receive some credit for further treatments.
And the best thing was that, after over a week, a girl on the bus complemented me for the beauty of my nails!!
