Red Door Yoga is a cool, friendly yoga studio right in the heart of Jing An Temple. With a max of 11 students/class, and only the most experienced international teachers, Red Door is a great place to learn yoga correctly, right from the start.
The facilities are respectable, with everything you expect in a yoga studio in shanghai: showers, lockers, free coffee and tea, etc. but the focus is less on having a fancy "spa-like" environment and more on offering quality instruction.
Ashtanga, Flow, and Hatha yoga classes all offer a strong practice for beginner or advanced students, and because they have time for one-on-one interaction the teachers help those students to practice at their own level, while encouraging them to develop.
