The food & coffee are very nice but the staff let this place down. On my last 2 visits there I was kept waiting 15-20 mins for a takeaway coffee while the staff fumbled around even though they weren't busy. I took my Mother in there for some coffee & cake the other day and the guy who served me was incredibly obnoxious & curt to the point where my Mother felt uncomfortable staying. If the owners want people to return to their cafe then they should ensure their staff are treating customers with some respect.

Excellent restaurant! The staff were very friendly & accommodating and the food was really lovely. The menu had a lot of variety so there's something for everyone. Lovely decor & atmosphere inside. I'll certainly be going back there again. A wonderful place to take family & people visiting from out of town.
Boots Opticians - Ealing
Ealing, London

My experience at Boots Opticians Ealing was utterly appalling. I paid for an eye test, they wrote down my prescription in reverse which I believe was an attempt to force me return to their store to buy glasses from them. I had to have another eye test, this time at Specsavers and the lenses in my new glasses replaced to correct Boots' mistake. When I complained, they refused to admit the error even though their prescription was the reverse of my old prescription as well as my new one!
In additional to this, the Manager did not represent himself honestly about a free contact lenses trial in an attempt, I believe, to get me to sign up for a monthly payment scheme. I later rang their customer service team who told me the information was completely wrong and it was a free trial.
In my opinion Boots Opticians are all about profits with no care for customers, so I would strongly advise anyone to avoid them. Specsavers provide a more thorough eye test and a considerably more professional service.
