The bar and garden are lovely, but food has gone seriously downhill in the past year. A ploughmans had too little cheese and too many alien hairs. Bread was dry, and came with margerine instead of butter. a real shame because we've had great meals here in the past.

Long term expats in Dubai have been loving the spectacular views and simple bar menu at the yacht club for over a decade - light years in Dubai time. Don't bother making trip if the weather is unsuitable for al fresco dining, but in the city's best months in Spring and Autumn, this place is hard to beat for an easy lunch with a couple of cool beers. As the weather heats up, try it in the evening when the cool winds come in off the creek.

Even for a family-focused chain this is well below par because the staff aren't properly trained.

Wonderful performances in a thoughtful and emotional musical that delivers some great comedy and choking tragedy. Seating in the upper circle of Phoenix Theatre was designed for 5 foot tall Victorian audiences.

My third visit to Arbutus - a favourite of mine - but food quality was hit and miss on this occassion. Seafood burger and Rabbit pie were delicious but bolognese starter was cold and sea bream over-cooked. Service was also a little 'shouty' at times.

So famous for its tapas that there was a queue of tourists outside at 12.45pm on a chilly March day. But worth the wait for a delicious and theatrical meal at the kitchenside bar.

just a quick coffee in a clean and professional place shouldn't warrant a mention, but Barcelona can be so awful at times that simple quality deserves recognition.

Stunning boutique hotel in heart of Bari Gotic. We had a room with a terrace - flawless design and comfort. We didn't eat in the restaurant but it looks beautiful.

Below average food and the service was even worse. The decor suggests a pleasant romantic evening is on the cards but we were rushed through a meal in one hour flat. Deeply unenjoyable.
