What a change from the English winter!
Shirt-sleeve weather in November and without the crowds of summer. Great short break. We went by Eurostar (one of the last days out of Waterloo) and TGV from Paris. Although the journey took most of the day it was so comfortable and interesting it was part of the break. No hassel at airports!
Nice has everything for the short break; art and culture; great shopping; the seaside; every type of food; excusions out to Monte Carlo etc and the beautiful countryside all around. (I wonder if I will get a discount for this next time I go?)
