I have been to the London Eye many times and I always really enjoy myself. It doesn’t matter what time you go, you are always bound to see something new or amazing, and I particularly like going on dusky summer evenings, where the London skyline is picthed against a glorious city sunset.
The queues have really died down, and if you book in advance there is barely any waiting time. It seems expensive, but it is a great experience, and one that I think is especially good for children.
I’m not that keen on the “photo opportunity” they now have, but this is an optional extra, and I’m sure will suit some people very well. A must see in London.

Going to the Harrords Food Halls, even if not to buy anything is always a treat. There is literally anything you could possibly imagine to buy here, all of it flawlessly presented and faultlessly served.
I especially like the chocolate and sweets halls, and the assistants are always happy for you to try a sample of anything they have, even if you do not end up spending any money. I do believe that many shops could learn from the staff here in terms of they way they deal with customers, because despite the fact the place is jam packed, it makes it a much nicer experience.

I really love this place. It has some stunning architecture and history, which always makes it a delight to visit, and when going to a pub, why not go somewhere with a bit of character as opposed to all these chain bars we are so accustomed to seeing?!
When I first went, it was one of the only places you could get Hoegarden on tap, although now that it so common, it still is a great place to visit. It has a mix of people, not all city boys which is a relief, and the prices are reasonable for London.
Well worth a special visit.

When I tasted my first Krispy Kreme it was from this shop, and their help and guidance thus far in finding “the one” (everyone has their favourite Krispy Kreme, surely?) has been hilarious and fantastic. I have now settled on Chocolate Dream Possibly the most calorific, but certainly the tastiest.
The range of treats here vary for every pallet, including plain baked, jam filled, chocolate ringed and more exotic blueberry, mango and cinnamon. They have a limited edition chocolate range which is to die for, and I find this particular store always has the multi boxes left which is handy, as most others seem to sell out very quick.

As a sushi novice, I was ushered in by my more experience freind and have to say was a little nervous. A little bit dark and secretive inside I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, my love of sushi really has turned into a love of Shushi Hiroba, as this really is the best place to get Sushi in London.
A little pricey, but so worth it. Their Sashimi is without doubt the highest quality I have tasted, particularly the scallops and tuna, and their hand rolls expertly created. they have the usual train, and more intimate tables, and I have heard they are partial to a spot of karaoke on a few pre booked nights. Marvellous!
