Pick-A-Pasta - Docklands
Unit 10 Bow Enterprise Park, London E3 3QY
05-11-2010
Great food! I ordered a penne carbonara and was pleasantly surprised. It tasted nothing like the ready-made cold pasta meals you usually get for lunch. I will definitely order again.
Rhodes B-B-Q Shack - Wapping
61 Wapping Wall, Wapping, London E1W 3SJ
27-01-2008
(updated on 23-05-2008)
Rhodes B-B-Q Shack brings the REAL American barbecue to London in the quiet and upmarket Wapping area. The food is excellent and the staff is friendly. Not to mention, the sweet smoky smell thay will keep you in appetite while you’re waiting for you food.
Concerning the place in itself, it’s very simple but cosy. The white walls are covered with customers reviews. It’s definitely a place where you can share a good moment with your friends.
One of my favorite restaurants in London and Wapping’s best kept secret!
Dove Spa - Mayfair
64 North Row, Hereford House , London W1K 7DG
24-01-2008
(updated on 01-02-2008)
Dove has created its own range of spas. I love Dove products, so I had to go over there and get a facial. First impression: luxuous place, pure atmosphere and a welcoming staff. I had the choice between more than 10 types of facials (from £10 to £62) and could even create my own.
My facial kicked off with a skin diagnosis by a high-tech computer that gives you infomation about your skin's sebum and moisture levels, elasticity and pigmentation. Thanks to that diagnosis, the team can tailor the facial to you. The treatment rooms are very nice: soft music, heated bed and aromas.
It was definitely worth it and I will go back. Ladies indulge yourselves!
Netty Hello, this is just my thing, Sanaa!
Dove products have a nice smell.
I did not know they had Dove Spas. Therefore I found the review really enlightening.
62 quid sounds quite expensive if you want to do it every month - but it starts from 10 pounds onwards.
Yes, pure indulgence - we are worth it!

Sticky Fingers Cafe & Restaurant - Kensington
1a Phillimore Gardens, Kensington, London W8 7QG
27-01-2008
Forget about McDonalds and Burger King's burgers! You haven't tasted a good burger until you have taken a seat in a Sticky Fingers restaurant.
Do you remember those restaurants full of teenagers who had just left the drive-in cinema that featured in American 70s movies? Well, you've got one in the heart of London. Sticky Fingers, named after one of the Rolling Stones' album, is a rock'n'roll themed restaurant and the décor is there to prove it.
I have nothing bad to say about this place. It's one my favorite spots.
Load Of Waffle - Hendon
The Broadway, Ealing Brodway, London NW9 7AA
27-01-2008
When you walk down the Ealing Broadway tube station, you won't be able to resist this hot and sweet smell that comes from this tiny shop. Load of Waffle is home to the most succulent belgian waffles. They also serve crepes but they're not as goog as those waffles. Ladies, forget about your diet, you gotta taste this!
ICEBAR LONDON - Mayfair
31-33 Heddon Street, Mayfair, London W1B 4BN
27-01-2008
The Ice Bar is a must go, at least for its originality. Everything from the bar stools to the glasses is made of crystal clear ice.
Also, it's a vodka bar, so all vodka amateurs will appreciate the large choice of vodka cocktails.
Honestly, it's not the kind of place that you want to attend on a regular basis but it's fun and worth your while.
Royal China Restaurant - Bayswater
13 Queensway, Bayswater, London W2 4QJ
27-01-2008
Several of my friends had been talking to me about this chinese restaurant and sugest that I should give it a try. Being an amateur of chinese cuisine, I finally decided to visit this place.
Here is my verdict: their dim sum is THE best in town. It's incredibly fresh and tasty.
Even if the staff is not very friendly (they're not bad but not the most welcoming people either), I'll definitely come back.
Ladurée at Harrods - Knightsbridge
87-135 Brompton Road, Harrods, London SW1X 7QN
27-01-2008
Ladurée is an institution in France, justifiably famous for its macaroons. Macaroons are small, round cakes, crispy on the inside, smooth in the middle made with almonds, eggs and sugar. They come in all different flavours and are simply delicious. If you feel like tasting those succulent pastries, Ladurée is the only place to go.
The Harrods branch is particularly nice as you could imagine but I think they have other stores in London.
St James's Park - St. James's Park
The Mall, London SW1A 2BJ
27-01-2008
What a beautiful and peaceful place in the centre of London! This royal park offers a beautiful view of Buckingham Palace from the bridge that spans the lake.
The lake has a wide collection of ducks, geese and pelicans that are very funny to observe. Kids will love it!
Apart from that, you can meet squirrels while walking and feed them with some nuts.
St James's Park is without a doubt one of the most stunning parks in London, especially in spring or summer when it's full of flowers.
Camden Market - Camden
104 Arlington Road, Camden, London NW1 0JH
27-01-2008
Camden markets are one of the most intriguing places in London. In this punk and gothic atmosphere, you’ll find everything from vintage clothing to decorating products and prices are low.Even if you don’t plan to buy anything, you MUST visit Camden markets for its originality and uniqueness.
