We found the blue planet aquarium good value for money although my advice would be to go anytime other than the school holidays as it gets really busy

I dont actually like football, but the tour guides obviously love it. They can actually make it sound interesting!! the people we went there with enjoyed themselves, there is a cafe and a souvenir shop and if you are lucky you can get a tour of the grounds themselves
Banks Giant boot sale - Banks
Ralphs wifes lane, Southport, Merseyside PR9 8ER

gets really busy so good if you want to sell stuff. Only thing to watch out for is if you get there really early to sell, blokes come up to the car with flash lights asking what you have brought with you and offering you about 5p for things until you feel like swearing at them to leave you alone!
Usually plenty of food wagons turn up so refreshments are available. Large field and reasonable entry price to get in and to sell. tip - if you are selling, look out in the local papers for vouchers off the cost of a pitch
Dominos Pizza - Southport
1 Virginia Street, Southport, Merseyside PR8 6RZ

My partner loves dominoes pizza but there isnt one close enough to deliver one to us, so i went to dominos to pick one up. When i got there the staff did not even acknowledge that i was there for about 5 minutes (they were obviously busy) but i still think it would have been nice for somebody to ask if i wanted to order something rather than just stand there and watch them make other people’s pizzas :-)
Parking is not a problem and he enjoyed the pizza even though i didn’t enjoy the bill - didnt realise pizza was that dear!
