Good place to have a quick drink when its not too busy next to the start of the quayside so a good starting point for your night out
Toilets downstairs to the left - not fantastic but cleaner that lots in town
They have a few offers on normally and you can get a bottle of wine for £6
The only problem is weekends as it gets so packed that you can hardly move - I mean really squashed in

A very nice view up here which is good as its quite a limb up the stairs
The jewish community did flee here in 1190 and rather than surrender to the mob many commited sucicded and they burnt it down from inside
It was rebuilt in stone in the 13th century
it has several rooms left on different layers
There is a small shop there
The castle musuem is where the Female Prison with County Gaol used to be
It is £3 for adults but free if your an english heritage member

This is a really wonderful house to spend a day out
There are vast gardens with some wonderful flowers there are woods and many sculptures we took a tour of the grounds to learn more
The house has many wonderful rooms open to the public full of fantastic paintings
My fav is the wonderful chapel
You can take a carriage ride up to one of the places where they used to take tea
There is a lovely b & b nearby for early morning access
There is a book shop. farm shop, garden shop shop chocolate shop and a gift shop so plenty to choose from
There are also several places to eat

This is a nice little shop full of loccitane the wonderful but expensive bath and beuty products
This shop which is light and spacious stcks the full range and has lots of tester
There are a few specials offers on and you can get a discount card and sign up for email and the catolougue to get further discounts off
The lavender range is great I have the shampoo and conditoner which makes your hair smell wondeful all day and for silky soft skin the almond shower gel is great

These do really cheap cruises for a day trip to amsterdam - the boats are bad - the food is horrid and the cabins are small and dirty. There was no entertainment on when we went. You get to spend the day in amsterdam which is fun, better if ou dont take the optional coach tour as ou get more time to explore on your own.
You have enough time to go to a cafe, a couple of musuems and the famous red light district but its in the day so not to seedy
The duty free shop on board is okay
Okay if you want a really cheap trip away as they sometimes have offers on.

This is a very moving palce and a must see if you are in the city
The magnificent tombs and masouleums of the greats of the country are buried or encased here
You can see how well manited some are looking through the glass there are altars with photos of the deceased
Others are in ruin with coffins and dust strewn around
It is amazing when you see some of the abandoned ones are for presidents and writers are here
The feral cats roam in and out of the tombs and leave a spooky feel to the place
Eva Peron is buried here and hers is the only place that is very well kept due to the constant visitors

Nice place a few miles out of newcastle - much handier ones inside newcastle city centre but this one has lots of parking there are lots of shops nearby and a frankie and bennies and a pizza hut attached if you get here early go into the borders and head upstairs for a starbucks
I would pop into the boots first and get a meal deal normally as it is so expensive here for the food but the nanchos are to lovely and you get loads of jalepenos when you ask
There is a bit of a wait sometimes to get in but not often
The seats are really comfy and there is plenty of room to get comfy and at the end of the night you know your car is just outside
If you need to take the bus the bus stop is opposite macdonald but you need to get to the other side of the road if you want to head into newcastle as the siverlink side has the buses for tynemoutn and blyth

This is a great shop if you want something that is in at the moment and that you might only were a few times
Not as good a range as some of the others and you really have to come in early in the morning for things not to be strewn all over the place
They do some nice little hand bags underwear and socks fab socks
If you want some cheap jewerlly for a night out then this is the place to pick something up for a couple of quid
Got a nice top and pants for a hen night here (policewoman) for a £5 each and you could actually wear them again
They also do some quite nice shoes and my fav thing in my house are the fleecy blankets they do which are really warm and soft and only a £5
If you go upstairs the queues are better than downstairs normally
Not expensive fashion but some nice things for an okay price
Lush Handmade Cosmetics - Newcastle

You can smell this wonderful shop from afar but some find it a bit overpowering inside
They are very anti packaging and use as little as possible
Everything here is as natural as possible and not tested on animals
If you dont know what to look for the bath bombs are great they fizz without leaving any grit in the bath and make your skin feel lovely
The jellys are okay but you had to use a sponge to apply them or it all ends up down the plug hole
The massage bars are the best thing ever - - melting on your sking and feeling so good
They have fab soaps, shampoos, deodrant in blocks
The face masks are cool but only last a little white but make you feel completly pampered
Best to look at the lush website before you go to see what you might want there were about 30 new things in the newsletter last time so things change
The people working here are really nice and friendly very knowledgable about the products so if there is something that you want that contains a certain essential oil or you want something for oily skin just ask
They also can show you how something works
They are usually willing to give samples so you can try before you buy and you sometimes get an underweight soap or broken ballistic thrown in
A wonderful place to shop

This is full of bargain shops though if your after a certain one I would check as a couple had moved recently. Black and decker is no longer there. There is a great nike sales shop. It has to be the best shop there at the moment The normal desinger rooms marks and spencers, The next sales shop has some great bargains and once in a while has everything for a fiver, dont trust the hangers though
There is a little cafe that does nice sarnies
There are sale book shops, luggage shops and several book shops
The best shop has to be thorntons with lots of offers on and wonderful cakes
There is a great clock which opens up and a rabbit area filled with bunnies for the kids to see
There is also a dvd and games shops where you can normally pick up games for cheaper than the high street
It is well signed from the A19 and you can get a bus easily from north shields
If your coming from newcastle it is easier to get the metro to north shields and you can see the bus stop next to the fruit and veg shop around the corner or get one from the main street
