Avoid, unless you like standing in sick surrounded by drunken white primates.

Grotty bar that needs refurb. Staff in a symptomless coma. Beluga? - name says it all. Belsen would be more apt.

Nice cafe situated on main road through Hebden Bridge. Food good but service chaotic, avoid on busy weekends. Our visit in January 2010 was ok, but not being greeted at the door by counter staff and overall frought nature of service wasn't that conducive to a relaxing lunch. Good selection of baby food was a plus and great tea and coffee and cakes. It could be so much better though with a bit more focus. Certainly food was healthy and fresh.
scruffy4 Agree the food was good, but 50 minutes wait for rarebit on toast, which came on only one piece of toast, at a staggering price of £7.75 is enough to put me off ever going there again.

The prayer room in the Arndale is the best place to hang out in Manchester.I was saw Bez in there trying to take his trousers off above his head, whilst claiming he could eat sodium. Right On.

Contrived overpriced Guff. If you like food that has been vac packed on a Dresden Industrial estate and lovingly imported to Manchester then this is the place for you. Only thing I could find worth buying was cheese from Kirkhams, besides that I am so bored of Manchester Markets plc thin attempts to introduce 'artisan' produce to Mancunians, who generally much prefer Aldi.

A quirky pub surrounded by beautiful countryside 25 mins walk out of Uppermill Village. They have home brewed beer which tasted great and the pub was warm and friendly. The food was very average reminded me of something from the mid 16th Century - Cheese & Onion pie was ok but nothing special. The place needs a makeover and a good clean up, toilets were grotty and reminded me of solitory confinement in Parkhurst. I would go back as it's a nice walk around here but it's not special enough for a destination, unless you enjoy contracting cholera. Worth a visit but don't build your hopes up.

Moo Quack Woof. Went here for the first time after reading various reviews. Decor is a bit OTT, staff were friendly and helpful. We were offered only a Christmas menu fixed 3 course for £40 per head. One vegetarian option on the starter and main. I had sprout soup which was tasty but a bit rich, we both had butternut squash and hosts cheese for main which was very nice. How come the vegetarian choice was the same price as a big piece of dead animal? Deserts Eton mess and cheese plate were good but nothing new. There was a singer wandering about crooning old Frank Sinatra type songs which was a bit loud and I was very tempted after his rendition of 'Fly Me To The Moon' to squeeze his knackers really hard and ask him to sing 'Walking In The Air' as it was the festive season after all. We would go back here but not for the set Christmas menu, maybe for their lunch menu. Bottle of Sancerre was soft and fruity. £40 for 3 courses here is too much money £20 main and £10 for desert and £10 for starter???!!! the bill came to £120 with wine and water and we felt it should have been £80. Ditch the singer as piped music of this genre works just as well and was an indulgent distraction that was a bit annoying. Not sure about the black velvet tablecloths either felt like I'd had a goth sat on my knee all night. At this price you are nearly competing with Abode which is streets ahead. Ditch the camp theatre and charge less for vegetarians! Amen.

Sorry I found the food in this Manchester institution really bland. I like the idea but Kabana a few streets away for me is much tastier and similar price point.
