Wow, an unexpected wonder. Came in this morning and recieved an email promoting thus restraurant - decided to try it for a business lunch with an old friend - dont tell advertising does not work. Really, really good- fresh, tasty and filling. I went vegitarian and my friend wnet meat - we were both in agreement that we would return. Set lunch menu from £6.50 a head. I will try it for dinner. Better than most.

What a fantatsic restaurant! Great place full of atmosphere and celebs. I took my girlfriend there for her Birthday and she loved it. We had thier own vintage wine as recommended by our waiter which was a very good red. To eat I had the crab and Kudu had the Foie Gras - which was amzing. FOr main I had the Duck pie - which is like shepherds pie and Kudu had the lamb chop. For desert we had the crumble. A great place for a treat, however a word warning - very, very expensive.
El Rincon Latino - Clapham

As you know I like Tapas, and I would describe this restaurant and functional not fantastic. Good value, not particularly authentic and reltively tasty for the price. Great for a night out with frinds in a party or quick snack with the other half over a bottle of Rioja. So definaly try, do not avoid it just dont over expect from it.

Another good lunch venue in the centre of town. Just fresh from a lick of paint I was very pleased to be sewrved a fresh toast cheese bagette with a good salad and sprinkling of chips. Fresh apple juice with a piece of apple in it and ice, freindly service and great location. Next time you are in town looking for good food try the Apogee. I will go back and some of thier other dinner dishes as well!
The Earl Of Lichfield Arms - Lichfield
8 Conduit Street, Lichfield, Staffordshire WS13 6JR

I have just come back from a business trip which found me running from the rain in Lichfield. Completely by chance I stumbled into this historic town centre pub. What a wonderful surprise - great people very friendly, simple menu very very tasty. A wonderful lunch time treat - super fresh Cod in beer batter - cooked not heated up, with the most amazing chip and mushy pees. Deep fried camonbere to start - all in all superb. Go, seek it out - fish and chips worth travelling for.
bluesofty Batter with beer in is the absolute best! When I make batter, I always put it in, mmmm!

Pick More Daisies - Highgate
12 Crouch End Hill, Crouch End, London N8 8AA
31-08-2008
As you know I love breakfast. Pick More Daisies is walking distance from the house and a firm favourite for weekend brunch. Based on an American Diner the food is fresh and simple. Famous for its award winning burger, veggie burger, breakfasts and shakes this is a great place to eat, read the apapers and get over the night before. I can personally recommend the veggie burger, Ceasar salad with falafal, mexican breakfast buritto, eggs benedict and full vegie breakfast. My mouth waters at the sight of the burgers cooking, next time i slip from my veggie leash I will come here and indulge my meat eating alter ego. I look forward to bumping into you at breakfast.
Edwinns - Cambridge
21 Bridge Street, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire CB2 1UF

My first time in Cambridge and I really enjoyed it. Great weather, an afternoon on the river ounting and a show in the evening. Just enough time to fit in a meal. Edwin’s in between cafe rouge and Ask. It looks like an up market restaurant and on first inspection the menu looks a little pricey. Well presented with a pleasant atmosphere we sat and ordered a whole deep fried camembert, which was great, lots of bread to dip and a pefect starter for the three of us. For main I ordered the organic salmon steak, which come with fresh veg - which were cooked perfectly and dauphanoise potatoes. Wonderful, Kudu had crab linguine which was OK - crab could have been fresher, pasta was cooked proerly. Wind for threee the total bill came in at £50. Pretty good value and well prepared and served food - if you are in Cambridge try it. A very pleasant meal in a very pleasant place.
Singapore Garden Restaurant - Swiss Cottage

What a great Chinese. I spend my time telling friends that I dont eat chinese much because I dont know any, well here you are a very good chinese. We had dumplings, prawn toast, sizzling prawns in black bean, sweer & sour chicken and singapore noodles and chinese greens with garlic. Two beers and a water - once again the bill came in £70, cleearly not cheap. But very good - even Kudu liked it.
The Crab & Winkle Restaurant - Whitstable
South Quay Harbour Street, Whitstable, Kent CT5 1AF
25-08-2008
Bank holiday weekend and a trip down to the coast. First time and Whitstable and very excited about a good fish supper. I have checked the web and searched quipe and have decided upon the Crab & Winkle. Great menu, excellant fresh fish. Well presented with good service. All in all very tasty, I just dont understand why a peice of fish should cost £20 or why a meal for at 3pm by the south cost should cost £90 with only two glasses of wine. May be I am missing the point, but when I go ato a Michelin stared restaurant I expect this sort of cost, when I go for fish and chips I dont. So great food at a very high price - shame really.
The Ivy - Covent Garden

I love this restaurant. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service is excellant and the atmosphere lively. It is great value for what it is and perfect for any type of celebration. I can recommend any of the following dishes - shepherds pie, burger, steak, Bang Bang Chicken, any of the fish, chocolate pudding, treacle pudding. My parents have loved, my clients love it, my gorlfriend loves it. So do it, treat yourself, book it for your birthday and eat in one the consistently good restaurants in London.
