well from my experinces from barcode i would never buy any hair extensions from this store as they just con you.
they told me that my first lot of hair extensions would dye ( they were ment to be 100% real hair ) they didnt dye at all. the dye just ran out of them and the hair was falling out. i had percifically asked if they would dye and the man in the shop said " yes they will dye without ant trouble"
i took them back to the shop as i was very unhappy about the product i had recieved. the man in the shop told me that he would get in contact with the man who was in charge of the company and to come back in 2 - 3 weeks, he said i will recieve all my money back. and he said he was very suprised this has happen, he said " it happens in 1 of every 100 sold as the hair differs. i went back after 3 weeks and 4 days and he told me the man hadn't got back to him. i was not happy with the service i was provided as i do not live near Coventry. i told the man in the shop that he had told me to come back in 2 - 3 weeks and i had come a bit later to give him chance. he just told me to come back in 2 more weeks, i told him no as i have to travell a while, i wanted something done there and then. after trying to compromise with him the told me he would give me some new 100% real hair extensions for half price. i just thought i am not going to get my money back so i might aswell take the offer. i got my new extensions and took them home and opened them to find out they were glue in extenions when i had told him i wanted clip ins. so i still had to make a trip back to the shop and he wantes an extra £8 for the clip ins. i said " no i am not paying an extra £8 as this is your mistake and i have had to travel here once again because of your poor service."
he kept telling me i need to pay it. in the end he didnt make me pay the £8 and gave me the extensions and told me these would defintly dye without any problems.
i have recently tryed dying my new hair extensions and the dye hasnt taken once again and the hair is just falling out.
i am planning on going back to the shop and i want all my money refunded, if not i will take it to trading standards!
please do not buy hair extensions from barcode, go to Coventry market as they are the same makes but i have a feeling that Barcode are removing the real hair and replacing it with fake hair.
i even gave my hair extentions to my hairdresser to look at and she told me there wasnt a chance they were real hair.
i have had to rate them otherwise i couldnt post this, but otherwise i would rate them at all!
i am so unhappy with the rubbish service i have recieved.
PrettyBrownEyes123 youre not the 1st person to say that story…they seem to con a lot of white girls, excuse my political incorrectness, but its true. The minute they see you walk in the shop they up the prices, thats why on most of the hair behind the counter has no sticker prices. my advice is shop online, therefore you get to compare prices and only use websites that use paypal for payment and hair that is 100% human hair WITHOUT anything before or after it like 100% human hair “quality” or “mix” i have been wearing weave for over 6 years and even still get conned, you have to do you research…google the name brands of hair ure interested in and then youtube or google the reviews..trust me i learnt alot from youtube reviews :)
Best of luck!!
