It is first time I had visited but my wife spoke highly of the pub. She has also had their sandwiches in the past.
Apparently the couple-i-c are relatively new and, with their delightful daughter, are really endevouring to make everyones visit so good that they will will return again...Certainly we will ! Very good meals !

Scallops first then venison and a bottle of merlot made this a most enjoyable evening.

We have been here on a number of occasions recently with friends and family.
The food is extremely good, well cooked and served and the service friendly with someone there when needed.
We seem to major on the chicken and beef dishes and my son has the lasagne washed down with one of a nice selection of wines perfectly chilled when it is white and nice temp reds. We have also enjoyed the spagghetti carbonara.....Start with their lovely, warm bread !!!
I feel the person who assessed above should give this restaurant a new visit and try the food again.
We found it to be perfect but I recommend you book.

Part of a tour during our visit for the Berlin Christmas markets we had booked via internet with SANDRA TURK who supplied a people carrier which was toasty warm…Our driver was Jonas who spoke good english but my son and I tried out our german. He took us round parts of Berlin we hadn’t seen before and then headed north to Sachsenhausen….
It is a fair way out of Berlin but the time flew by… It was deep snow but we joined the guided tour and saw round the whole camp…It is a cold place and we are held in awe of what one people can do to others.
Something to experience and feel…’’’’’’’
To get warm again we visited the cafe at the camp entrance and had liqueur coffees ! Then back to our Hotel in Berlin.

Been here a few times now, not for F1 but for other events and sometimes as part of a continental coach tour…..Seeing it in the flesh sure puts it into perspective when we see it on TV.. Tour of complex worth seeing.

We just had to visit this memorial-in-the-making……We had read about it and decided to take a detour to see it…We were not disappointed…IT IS HUGE but it may be many years before it is completed..
Worth going off the beaten track to see it !!

It was my sons birthday week so his friends set up a Saturday evening at this restaurant inviting my son and his parents (us), totalling 21persons.
We arrived at 7.30pm by taxi and received attention immediately. We were given promotional vouchers which offered starter OR dessert plus main course and one drink for only £10 !! What great value….it gets certainly bums on seats !
The menu on the voucher was shorter than the normal main menu in items on offer, so some of the party varied their choice, paying the extra to get a starter or sweet to supplement the voucher menu. We had wine and beer and we majored on pizzas and/or chicken selections. We were served quickly and efficiently and we enjoyed the evening. The staff were great and came often to see if we were enjoying our meals.
A good evening in nice surroundings.

We were two of the first people to stay here after it had been renovated so we received supreme attention and were invited to a number of functions to find out our approval. (Guinea pigs !)
It is a very nice hotel and it has a swimming pool on the roof plus bars and eating area.
In the downstairs retaurants we had some great meals, We would definitely return !!
Djerba - Tunis

We arrived from the airport in the middle of the night, across bumpy roads, in a people carrier, in pitch black darkness. After a hair-raising 45 minutes we could see what we thought were large white cliffs on our right in the distance….
However they turned out to be the large hotel complexes. We were glad to end up at our hotel after dumping the rest of the occupants at successive hotels…
We were even “gladder” to get to bed.
When we awoke next morning it was to glorious sunshine and a truly magnificent view of the beach and the deep blue sea. we went for breakfast and had a day round the pool. We went on various excursions including one out to a camp where we saw the"real" Djerbians and ate their food and saw the shows !
One day I decided to hire a taxi when my wife decided to take things easy in the heat.
The taxi arrived and I found that the driver spoke only French. However we conversed basically and he. on my request, took me out into the desert to see the real Djerba. He showed my that you would never be without food or water so we ate dates off the trees and he found cactus which he crushed to get the liquid. It was a wonderful afternoon exploring and it only cost £10 !! (I did give him a tip as well!) We met the real, real Djerbans this time and I tried cooked camels legs and wine !
We enjoyed Tunisia a lot and returned the following year but stayed up near Monastir which was not as good as Djerba
Djerba is a great place for a holiday >>>>>>>>>
Angus Steakhouse - Soho

A group of six of us had a fairly short time to have a meal them go across the road to the London Palladium to see “Wizard of Oz” which started at 7.30pm. So we chose the Steak House.. We were seated very quickly and our orders taken. Drinks came first and there was only a slight delay until the meals arrived. My wife and I had Chicken Carolina (the sauce is delicious) and our companions had steak salads and one had scampi….
Drinks varied from red and white wine to diet coke !
We were in time for the theatre !! Many thanks for the attention from the staff.
