This restaurant has a pleasant intimate atmosphere, great for couples but we also had a great girl’s night out there. The menu was the usual modern British and the food was well cooked and good portions. The staff were friendly and attentive but we had to ask for missing items on three separate occasions but I can forgive that as we were the last customers and they never hassled us to leave.

One of the best beachside restaurants I have eaten at. As I live in London I found the prices reasonable and the food well presented and tasty. The seafood chowder was excellent but the BLT was a bit odd, inch thick slices of granary bread. We visited on a bank holiday Monday and got a table for 7 straight away. This was my fourth visit and it is potluck if you get a table and therefore get to eat but worth trying. We have a live band playing whilst we were there.

Small and very well stocked garden centre catering for its relatively affluent neighbours. Located under the railway arches at Ravenscourt Park, it has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and it has a wide range plants and tasteful garden equipment. A lovely airy cafe has recently been opened with a range of snacks and salads including good vegetarian options. A great place to relax and escape the daily grind.

The view is possibly the most memorable thing about The Dove and the riverside balcony is a great place to sit and watch the world float past. The pub is an increasing rarity these days as it is unmodernised and its rooms have not been opened up. The food is moderately priced given its location and it is well-cooked and presented. The beer though is only average even though the brewery is not far away, but I am advised that the quality of both the beer and the food can drop at busy times. Definitely a place to visit and relax at quiet times, but perhaps avoid it on the weekend

Great restaurant for a sunny day as the large glass sun roof in the area at the back of the restaurant really lifts the spirit. The Starters were good and a reasonable range but my pizza base was doughy and the toppings tasteless. The house red was good but I only got half a cup of coffee.
