This hotel has it all, agood bar and cafe, a health club, fun nights, its an ideal place to stay, Newcastle towncentre or the coast of Whitley Bay and Tynemouth are close by, hop on a bus right outside of the hotel or a taxi to the coast about £6 Newcastle about £10-£11. The hotel is able to cater for a wide range of functions. I think you can even get married here. we stayed for a weekend and loved it.

This museum is FREE yes FREE to everyone,there loads to see for all ages, theres parking spaces if you come by car but its only a short walk if you arrive by metro or bus. the cafe is just a little expensive. The staff are helpful, this is a good place to come if your lost for something to do on a drab day, children can have fun while learning.

This bar is one of the wetherspoon chain,as with most wetherspoon bars, you get decent meals at reasonable prices and drink both alcoholic and not, also at very reasonable prices, the bar is a good place to meet family and friends for a few drinks and maybe a meal.The staff i have always found to be pleasant and helpful,

This is a fair sized morrisons which had added another car park and a petrol station around the corner of the main store. The place is well laid out and has good last minute offers on. It has a tendeancy to have long queues at the counter which back up into the aisles and there is not much room to move but a good place to pick up some things with plenty 2 for 1 offers on

This is a shop that sells a great range of whiskies though some of them were higher priced that what we had found elsewhere in the cities the staff had great knowledge of what they were selling. They also seem to sell cigars

This is a place that sells gemstones and also does treatments such as indian head massage hoki candle waxs holitisic facial massages
They are very knowledble about the products and the different ways in which they heal if you have any questions they are very friendly to approach

This is a place which has exhibits on modern art and sculpture It is a place where up amd coming artists can show there work as well as it selling the pieces of more established artists It is a wonderful light place. The exhibits seem to change all the time
You can take things there to be valued and arrange to sell art through them

This is in a lovely old building to set a musuem on some of the greatest ever writers. It has historic pieces from the most famous scots writers here and really gives you a sense of what it was like in the times that they wrote You will be able to see what they looked like and learn more about what they wrote Its free to get into so worth a look around if you have time

This is a bar that also has a resteraunt and rooms for those who want to stay in this wonderfiul area. The nicer rooms are outside of the main building and have fantastic views. The bar has a warm fireplaces and lots of dark wood They have a choice of real ales and do food here The resteraunt meals are lovely but more expensive so if you are after plain food stick to the bar food
