Priceless Shoes - Redcar

20 Regent Walk, Redcar TS10 3FB

23-05-2009

I love this shop, I always call in whenever I am in Redcar to see what barains they have. They always sell fashionable shoes at discount prices, I have been known to leave here with 5 pairs of shoes paying less than £20 in total. The staff are friendly, not the quickest, but always have a smile on their face when they serve you. They dont just sell shoes for me though, I can buy the kids and his shoes at discount prices too aswell as school bags and holdalls for travelling with.

X Catalogue Store - Redcar

69 High Street, Redcar TS10 3DD

23-05-2009

Bargains, bargains and more bargains is all you will find here, and who doesnt like bargains?
This store sells everything from toys to clothes to household and garden. Just window shopping is difficult to do here as they always display their biggest bargains in the windows and you can guarantee having to buy something. Their clothes are for the more elderly people among us however the range of toys they sell is fantastic, especially around christmas time, they discount all their toys further and you have to be quick to get them too.

Radar Clothing - Redcar

86 High Street, Redcar TS10 3DL

On of very few name brand shops in Redcar, with a very expensive range of clothes for the most chavvy of people. I have only been in this shop a couple of times and each time I have been in it always seems to be full of chavs, ignorent and abusive chavs. The foul mouthed kids of today have put me off shopping here altogether. They do sell some nice clothes though, but I am fairly sure you will get them cheaper elsewhere if you looked.

New Look - Redcar

10 Regent Walk, Redcar TS10 3FB

23-05-2009

At the top of the parade next to Argos you will find a funky looking shop full of people with money to spend and a reason to spend it. Normally a night out or to look super hot. This shop sells a huge variety of some of the most fashionable clothes around and you will always find a bargain in their sale rails. With everything from supskinny to maternity to the plus size girls, you will find something for everybody’s tastes here. Just dont expect to get in the shop when they have a sale on as you wont get in for the amount of people searching for a fantastic bargain.

Clarks Shop - Redcar

3 Regent Walk, Redcar TS10 3FB

23-05-2009

A small shop situated along the parade, selling mediocre quality, high priced, unfashionable shoes. The staff refuse to accept fault for any fault with their shoes and say you have “overused them” with one days wear. I would expect that from Discount Shoes but not Clarks, Clarks are supposed to quality shoes. Now I refuse to shop their again and will go elsewhere next time I need work shoes that will last longer than 1 day.

Peacocks Stores - Redcar

A fantastic store if you like hunting for a good bargain. It sells womens, mens, kids, babies and some household items like candles, unlike bigger stores I’ve been to that only sell womens clothes. Each are separated into there own area so its easy to browse and the pathway through the shop is more than wide enough to get a buggy through let alone a pushchair. If you have a good rummage through the sale shelves you will always find a good bargain. CHeck with the staff too as they run alot of unannounced sales for percentages off your total spend or off certain items.
Have fun shopping

Wilkinson - Redcar

81 High Street, Redcar TS10 3DE

23-05-2009

Wilkinson is generally open 08:30 until 18:00, but some stores in smaller towns and shopping centres tend to open at different times. To miss the crowds shop early in the morning 8:30 to 10:00 and before the store closes 16:30 to 18:00, or on a Sunday. Keep an eye out for bargains on the trolleys as you go in, on the shelves at the back and on till ends as you go out, warehouse clearances, end of range sales and end of season sales. Special promotions such as multibuys are very common so keep an eye out for those too. Also if you are looking for something look up the stores number online and check in store where they will reserve the stock. Staff are friendly, but do get tired on busy days so be nice and say thank you, and the store is always clean.

Claire's Accessories UK - Redcar

Regent Street, Redcar TS10 3EZ

23-05-2009

A quaint little shop along Regent walk that stocks everything little girls want and more. The one problem is where its situated, on the corner near the benches and it doesnt stand out so unless you have an actual reason to go there, its easy to forget. On the good side though my daughter loves and so do I when they have sales, and for a small shop they sell loads of stuff. They even offer ear piercing, though I’m not sure of the quality.
Worth nipping in though.

Sweetshakes - Redcar

West Terrace, Craigton House, Redcar TS10 3BU

23-05-2009

A 50’s style diner that sells a large variety off milshakes, sweets and food, a great nostalgic experience. However, the last time I went in it wasnt very clean and the staff werent very polite, which is why I only gave it 3 stars. I wont be calling back in there again for a while, at least until they learn manners.

Poundland - Redcar

Unit 9 Regent Walk, Redcar TS10 3FB

23-05-2009

Poundland is a great shop anywhere you go, and ours is no different!
Situated along the parade on the way to Morissons it is very easy to get to and always worth looking in.
They sell everything from baby stuff to craft bits. They often have many items on sale at 50p like kids toys. Although the kids toys never seem to last that long especially with my brood.
They also stock a huge varietyof sweets, biscuits, crisps and pop.
So as you can see with great stock anf friendly staff its always worth a visit.
