Tucked only few seconds away from the lights and the buzz of Old St is the Hoxton Salon, the lovely boutique managed by Paula Bedwell. Much more than a beauty and hair parlour this is 'THE' place to go if you want to feel fabulous!

The professional staff will advise you as well as listening to your requests, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, the products are great and more importantly organic (hair dye can even be used in pregnancy and during breastfeeding!!)... To put it simply the service you'll get in the Hoxton Salon is outstanding and you'll be feeling pampered and beautiful just like I did!

La vicinanza al mare e’ sicuramente una delle cose che piu’ mi manca di Roma. Quest’anno poi, dopo aver scoperto Capitani di Spiaggia, la nostalgia sara’ ancora piu’ grande.

Capitani di Spiaggia e’ veramente un posticino da non lasciarsi sfuggire. Sulle bellissime dune di Capocotta, a pochi passi dal Villaggio Tognazzi, sorge questo lido, destinazione prediletta di tanti ragazzi e ragazze ma anche di giovani famiglie. L’atmosfera e’ rilassata, lo staff sorridente e il bar oltre ai soliti drinks e snacks offre una selezione di frullati di frutta fresca e cocktails (dopo le 18).

Se poi si preferisce evitare il traffico del ritorno o semplicemente si desidera guardare il tramonto sul mare sorseggiando un mojito non c’e’ nessun problema: Capitani di Spiaggia e’ infatti aperto fino a tardi con tanto di DJ per la musica e barbeque per gli affamati (nel weekend).

I went in there with my fella last Monday, after a friend suggested the place and we were both amazed to eat such a delicious pizza!
The dough is soft and light, accordingly to the authentic Neapolitan recipe, the tomato sauce is luscious and succulent and toppings are fresh and obviously carefully sourced from Italy… What else can I say??? Maybe that the staff is friendly and helpful and the ambience feels homely and cosy??? No wonder Santa Maria was buzzy on a cold Monday night after only two or three weeks from the opening…

Dermalogica products really did the miracle for me!
Went into the High St Ken store for a fab event just before Christmas and by the time I left my skin was brighter, softer and healthier (despite the drinking and eating excesses of the party season) ... All credit goes to the high quality of the Dermalogica products and the professional help of the staff... If you are really in need of some beauty magic this place cannot be missed!

This is a hot spot for coffee lovers: modern and relaxed ambience, friendly staff and amazing coffee! Being Italian I am used to nicely warm, drinkable coffee (and not London's boiling hot average coffee!) so drinking my cappuccino without burning my tongue and my esophagus was a pleasant surprise... Cakes and sandwich are very tasty too... Kaffeine is truly a little gem and I'll be back very soon!!
