My mahogany pedestal desk had seen better days, with bits broken, bits missing and the leather top badly scratched. However, I was attached to it, as one tends to be with heirlooms and antiques. Hence I decided to have it restored rather than buy a new desk and I made the right choice with Matthew Crawford Furniture Restoration.

The people who came to collect it were punctual, friendly and efficient. My cherished desk came back within two weeks restored to the highest standard and beautifully french polished. I was extremely pleased with 
the job they had done and would give them a five star rating any time.
