Family run butcher in the Northfields area (there is another shop in South Ealing - it may be closer for you). Excellent range of meats to suit all your cooking needs.

Tell them what you are after and you’ll get it. Just remember that when you ask for meat for 4 you will probably only need meat for 3 as the butchers do like their meat!!!

Great selections for BBQs with tasty sausages and prepared kebabs. Everything we have had has been great.

Get there early on a Saturday as there is often a long queue out of the door with customers after their joint for Sunday lunch

Contemporary Indian cuisine in a comfortable and friendly restaurant just down from Cambridge Circus. Don’t expect to see the regulars on the menu from your local Indian restaurant. Expect a twist on that menu with flavoursome dishes which have more of a hint of quality than quantity.

There is seating upstairs and downstairs, which is good when the restaurant gets busy. There is a small bar which is good to have a drink at whilst waiting for a table if it is very busy and you didn’t book a table.

Collection/delivery outlet for Pizza Hut in Ealing. Clean and tidy. Pizza is the order of the day but the menus do vary. If you a local the shop often sends details of offers including “Buy one, get one free” and free starter, drinks if spend over a certain amount.

Can get quite busy at certain times for delivery so if you live locally (like me), tend to ring through the order and then pick it up. Often see the pizza being made and know it is hot from the oven.

Large pub with an excellent restaurant and range of beers. Plenty of room for larger groups and a lively atmosphere when busy. The restaurant and food are great with separate dining facilities - can be very busy and hence a reservation could be a good idea.

If you are in the area drop in and have a drink or two. You can’t miss it if you are driving up South Ealing Road from the A4 about 300-350m from the roundabout on the left opposite the play area.

Second shop for Darch & Duff, hence the “2”. It’s just north of the first shop at no 90. This shop focusses on baby and children’s clothes and toys. Has a varied range of gifts and products for everyday usage.

If you enter this shop you are bound to leave with a bag having purchased something for the grandchild, niece or nephew. Highly recommended but keep your control.

Quaint gift shop in the Northfields area. Range of gifts for varying budgets and wants. Cards, jewellery, curios, special occasion gifts are all a speciality.

Particularly like the personalised water colour pictures that are created by the staff to celebrate weddings, births and special birthdays. Always a memorable present for a special occasion.

Very helpful staff, presents and gifts are wrapped in the shop which can be a bonus

Independent carpet and flooring retailer in Little Ealing area. Good range of carpets and flooring for all budgets. Have purchased two carpets from the shop and impressed with the speed of delivery, quality of installation and overall service.

Sell carpets, wooden flooring (solid and laminate), lino etc.

Wickes in South Ealing used to be Focus DIY. A large shop/warehouse with all the usual products on sale from the DIY/Building chain. Staff are helpful and generally happy.

Good for parking

Little restaurant along Northfields Avenue serving Italian and Pizza dishes. Good range of options on the menu from standard dishes to specialities. Pizzas are good value and delicious. The restaurant has its own stone bake oven at the rear of the property and you can see the chef cooking the pizzas.

Good service and enjoyable place to have a nice meal. Book if you are a bigger group but couples can often pop in early and get a table.
