Distinctly average. Close to The Luminaire so we went there for some pizza before a gig. While the staff were nice, and the menu very varied, the food itself was pretty tastless and made me wish I’d just gone to Pizza Express!

Pretty much the only reason to go to Kilburn, but also the main thing that’s turning Kilburn into a bunch of smug, scarf clad indie lovers - yuck!
Anyway, the Luminaire is a nice venue. To see the stage you have to stand but there are some comfy seats for when the acts aren’t on. As such full capacity can mean you are standing somewhere you can’t actually see the stage.
My favourite thing about it is that you have to walk behind the stage (while the performers are on) to go to the graffiti stained toilets which is always quite funny.
The walls are covered in messages asking people not to talk and the crowd are normally quite serious chin strokers.
P.S. Last time I went it was violently hot and full of farting smells. I hope it was a one off.
