Nice country pub that gets packed in the summer due to the large beer garden. Nothing special but nothing wrong with it the food is average pub fayre.
The Intrepid Fox - West End

Pub loved by metalheads, goths etc.. which has to be experienced to be believed. The Intrepid Fox is at the bottom of Denmark Street aka Tin Pan Alley so if you’re shopping for a guitar then head here afterwards for a pint.
Raoul's Express - Maida Vale

I went to Raouls with high hopes and was very impressed with the decor inside and the menu is great for breakfast containing kippers, smoked haddock, eggs benedict etc… Having ordered drinks and food (great smoothie range) I waited as the staff buzzed around me. Sure enough my cutlery was delivered but no drinks or food. Eventually after about 15 minutes I approached the waiter who had taken my order and guess what, the order had been lost. Reading through other reviews on qype this seems to be a habit of theirs! In the end the food was very good and they knocked the drinks off the bill but I won’t hurry back.
Coach & Horses - Mayfair

Good traditional pub serving Asahi on tap and a selection of real ale. I went on a Friday night and it was very quiet but the staff were very friendly and overall I will happily return.
The Punchbowl - Mayfair

Great traditional pub just off the beaten track in Mayfair. Due to the pub being owned by Guy Ritchie I was expecting it to be full of iritating people with a rolled up copy of heat under their arm but thankfully saw nothing of the kind. Heineken on tap and a good selection of real ales. I’ll be coming back to sample the food soon.
Schmidt's Cafe - Clapham
2 Rookery Road, Clapham, London SW4 0RF

Not too sure what this place is trying to be. It’s in a great location on Clapham Common and seems like the perfect spot for a cold drink or lunch on a warm day due to the majority of the seating being outside but there’s just something missing. I was expecting it to be busy on a sunny Sunday at 3pm but there were few people there. May try again soon to see if my experience was a one off.

Loch Fyne - Stockton Heath - Warrington

Very good restaurant for the fish and seafood lover. The food is all extremely fresh and although not cheap it is certainly value for money. Not suprisingly the menu is dominated by staples such as moules, oysters and lobster. My moules mariniere was fantastic! Only downside was the chips, they were like McDonalds chips (which I do like)had been baked for an extra 20 mins (which I don’t like). One bit of advice, take a date and order the platter for 2 had I not been dining with a 18 stone man-mountain this would have been my preferred option.
Village Hotel & Leisure - Warrington

Nice, modern, stylish hotel in
Warrington (home of Kerry Katona - what more of a compliment can this place have!!!).
The rooms are spacious with plasma screen tv’s and ipod docks as standard. The swimming pool is massive and there are other good facilities such as a gym, sauna, steam room and a good sized bar (very lively for a hotel bar if there are Liverpool or Man U games on).
