The Crown and Treaty - Uxbridge

90 Oxford Rd., London UB8 1LU

01-04-2008

Great atmosphere. This pub has a funky vibe. It is always a popular busy place on the weekends. Local bands play weekly. The beer garden/tent is huge and expect it to be noisy when it is windy outside as the tent flaps! Genuinly a cool mix of individuals drink here. Refreshing is such a town.

The Good Yarn - Uxbridge

132 High Street, Uxbridge, Uxbridge, Buckinghamshire UB8 1JX

01-04-2008

A great place to start on a night out. The drinks are really cheap here. Despite the crowded bar you get served rather quickly, considering. The place is heaving before 11 as it is the starting point for the club goers. Expect to pay around £5.00 for a jug of cocktail! Good atmosphere although rather noisy.

Q & A Chicken - Hillingdon

Uxbridge Road, London UB10 0PL

01-04-2008

Q and A Chicken is a cheap and cheeful answer to KFC. They also offer pizza. For just £3.00 you can get a meal including drink. The food is available to pick up or be delivered. Food is good here its ideal when you are in a rush or when you have a fast food crave.

Bartletts Ski - Hayes

Uxbridge Road, London UB4 8HR

01-04-2008

The only ski shop I know. This is a nicley run shop and in my opinion a hidden gem. It acustoms to every taste and need. You can find everything to associated with Sking or snow related sports here from wooly hats to rental of ski boots to full crash gear. The staff are always happy to help and are also patient with first timers who are not sure on what they need.

Nona Rosa - Uxbridge

High Street, London UB7 7XW

01-04-2008

Excellent food, excellent service. If you are looking a traditional Italian restaurant Nona Rosa is it. The restaurant has a laid back, comfy, welcoming vibe. The staff are dressed up in black tie which is refreshing to see, they serve the food to you and grate cheese and add pepper to your dish for you. The food is superb. The best Italian I have ever had.

Naz Bar - Uxbridge

London UB7 7XW

01-04-2008

Excellent night out. If you are in Uxbridge town Naz is a must. The music is mostly garage, hip hop and chart songs. The dance floor is small but it is full all night. The drinks are quite expensive though, but you are guarenteed a good night out.

5 star indian quisine. The food here is amazing! It is always fresh and hot whether you have your meal delivered or eat in the restaurant. The food is reasonably priced and of a superb quality everytime.

Brookhouse Pub - Hayes

Really well run family pub. Suitable for familys in the daytime and gets livley in the evenings for both young and old. They have local bands play weekly they also run quiz nights regularly and also have a weekly kareoke. The pub is involved in a lot of charity fundraising for locals. It is a great pub to be in. The beer garden has won awards, it has heaters, pool tables, lots of seating and shade areas.

The Beck Theatre - Bromley

London BR2 7DQ

01-04-2008

Great local community theatre. This is the towns only local theatre. It runs a variety of performances throughout the year from local dance schools howcases to Noddy to Comedy shows travelling the country. Also has a great panto every year which I have never missed. Staff are friendly. The place is full of a sense of community.

Wonder Cafe - Hillingdon

Uxbridge Road, London UB4 8HN

01-04-2008

You will spot this cafe by its familiar logo. The famous macdonalds arches, upside down! A well run cafe. Expect to find builders here as it seems a hit with the tradesman. Staff are great, always greet you and make you feel welcolme. Food is as you would expect from a cafe…very fattening, but you wont be able to resist!
