This possibly one of the freshest ideas to a restaurant i have seen in bristol for a while. The menu is fantastic the service matches the menu , its nice to meet people enthusiastic about food and serving it and the list wines available to sample will boggle the mind with choice, the menu is interesting its part tapas part fine dining restaurant it maybe a small location for a restaurant but it has big idea on service and food , simply a marvelous marvelous place to spend your lunchtime or evening dining.

I visited this hotel recently for a wedding and can say that for the price you get a warm , professional and welcoming staff. The rooms are adequate to your needs and the food and service make you feel like you have paid for something worth while.

Well where do I start unfortunately this site will not let me put minus stars for this particular establishment , I am going with horrifying absolutely terrible service. The management are rude with a “could not care attitude”. But I suppose for the price £50 per night yes that’s right the manager has the nerve to charge that for this complete dump. Rooms are not serviced , the beds are childlike in size , the bathrooms are appalling. All in all please don’t do it !!!

The restaurant was such a treat the first time i tried it out with friends. The French feel to the establishment is fantastic from the music to the décor.The service is marvellous and the knowledgeable staff can recommend the perfect wine to accompany your meal from the large range on offer. They also offer a great range of beers and ciders. The Food is fantastic well prepared , worth the price as all good food is. For starters i had the onion soup ( Soupe L’oignon) and for a main i had the 10z rib eye steak ( entrecote rouge) with a great bottle of pinot noir. Time well spent.

The Black Castle pub , is one of those unique establishments in that what you see outside is not conveyed in the inside of the place. The Bars are modern well staffed and stocked with plenty of alcohol. The Food is decent enough pub food , its type of establishment you go to watch a game with the lads , grab a game pool afterwards and enjoy yourself. The toilet facilities are decent enough with plenty of parking with a large Sainsburys car park accompanying it.

I had lived quiet nearby this bakery for 2 years , and do miss the products they sell. From the pies to fresh bread , and there lovely sugary treats. They are worth a visit if heading up Sandypark Road in Brislington. Be quick though on the weekends there goods go fast. The service is friendly enough and the old style interior will make you think your in another time.

I had been in Bristol for nearly 3 years before stumbling upon this establishment. It is a bit sneaky in it’s location , you have too lookout for the advertisements to locate it in park row. That said once you have found it you won’t be dissapointed. The atmosphere is great , the variety of drinks on the bar is a plus , the old school music line up really can set the mood. The upstairs area is good if you want too escape the bar when it gets too busy or the beer garden for a smoke. The woods are open till late(some nights till 6 am) , and it’s a great place to end the night in.

The Golden Horse is worth a stop over if your venturing through Nailsea for lunch or dinner.They serve Cantonese, Szechuan, and Thai specialities.The staff are friendly , and the atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. There is a take away service offered which is great for the after work rush. To be warned ahead of time It is not cheap, but then again quality never is. This is the place to go if you want to treat yourself to a special night out ( have go with the Spring rolls
Crispy Fried Seaweed ,Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs or Crispy Fried Lamb ).

The dynasty is one the best Chinese restaurants i have visited in Bristol. The Decor at the front and interior of the restaurant is fantastic the service is always great. The food meets the standard of the service ( Jiaozi , Kung Pao chicken or peking duck are awesome). This restaurant delivers great service and is worth a visit.

Las Iguanas is great if you like your food with a Latin American , African and Spanish influence. This fusion of different food genres has created some really delicious food ( my favorites the chimichanga , enchiladas or peri peri asado). But lets not leave out the tapas from the nachos to the bolinhos. The food menu is awesome. We move onto the drinks the cocktail happy hour will send you off in the right direction after work ( you can never go wrong with a pitcher of sangria or a mojito. The service is great , the food is great and you will be guaranteed a great experience.
