I am writing this review and hope it will help to prevent someone from experiencing the ongoing trauma now i am suffering.
I arrived at Llongueras at about 3:05pm on 12 May 2012 and had been served by a Spanish stylist (I do not know his name as he refused to tell and even not allow his manager to provide me the same when I asked). In the beginning, I had a consultation with this Spanish hairdresser and he provided me with some advices that I was happy with that. Then he started washing my hair and we did talk to each other nicely while he was providing me with the service. He asked me when I have my haircut done last time and told his in about January this year as it has been cut too short. So I mentioned to him that I do not prefer my hair to be cut too short. After he blow dry my hair when the haircut was about to finish, I told him that is not what I want and think is too short. I was told the haircut has not finished yet so I asked him whether it will be shorter after he finished. He answered: "yes, it will be a bit shorter after finished". He asked me whether he should continue or what. At the same moment, I was starring the mirror and thinking what to deal with this situation. Then he was suddenly stand up, started shouting and called me "bitch, get out of the shop, I am not your slave" and so on. I was shocked because I just tried to tell him my opinion and did not expect to be treated like this in a salon. I walked toward to the counter and asked his colleague (who called himself a manager in the shop) for his name. The manager tried to put his name on the business card for me but this Spainish stylist just crabbed the card and threw it on the floor and keep yelling to me with âFâ words plus calling me bitch. I felt humiliated and threatened by this Spanish stylist and told him I may call the police if he keep threatening me. I tried to have a word with the manager but the Spanish stylist not allow me to talk and yelled all the time but in the meantime, the manager did not try his best to stop the insults from his colleague. The manager just asked me to leave my contact details and he will refund the money that I paid in advance. Told the manager that is not the matter about the money, the main issue on this matter which is I had been humiliated and insulted by this Spanish hairdresser plus now my hair looks awful as one side it much long than the other. I understand that might be a communication disorder in between and even the hair has been cut too short but it will eventually grow longer again, so I did not blame on him or be rude at all. It is unbelieveable that I had been serviced in the way and the manager did not try to help me.
Furthermore, this Spanish hairdresser also spoke rude and asked the other male customer to
get out of the shop who was waiting his hair to be cut in the salon. I cannot believe a chain international salon had provided such poor and awful service to the customers.
After having such experience, I found difficult to fall in sleep because every time when i colsed my eyes the event constantly recurred to me. It is a nightmare to myself!!! I DO NOT WANNA RATE 1 STAR AS I COULDNT RATE NULL! MOST IMPORTANT, IM LOOKING FOR THOSE 2 MALE CUSTOMERS WERE IN THE SALON ON 12 MAY 2012 BETWEEN 3-3:40PM WHO WITNESSED EVERYTHING,
KATELIN My sympathy to you. I had the Spanish man too. I cried at night. The only good thing he did was say he believed in Jesus and blow dried my hair with a nice condition.
But after he cuts off HALF your hair without consent, the condition is not much comfort. May Jesus have mercy on us all. Best wishes.
