Efes Brasserie - Warrington

137 Sankey Street, Warrington, Cheshire WA1 1NN

23-04-2009

I ate here a few weeks ago, usually I would go to the curry mile but fancied something a little closer to home. I was not to be disappointed. The food was great, the service was second to noe. While the exterior may not be much to look at who care’s you don’t sit on the outside looking in. I would highly recommend giving this a go.

Apple Jacks Farm - Stretton

Stretton Road, Warrington, Cheshire WA4 4NW

Great entertainment for all ages. This farm has an amazing maize maze in the summer with themed attractions. it then does Spply World for Halloween, An this year is opening a skiing theme. well worth a visit

Stockley Working Farm - Northwich

Arley Arley, Northwich, Cheshire CW9 6LZ

An excellent day out with the children which all starts out with a ride on the tractors trailer, feed lambs & goats, see pigs horses cows and various other farm animals. This also has a great outdoor play area to keep the kids entertained.

I will be returning to this hotel for the 5th time in January. I cannot fault the service and friendliness of the staff. From this hotel you can ski in and out. The ski-ing here is excellent for all abilities and is particularly good for young children to learn. I wuld highly recommend it

Hollow Tree - Stretton

Tarporley Road, Stretton, Warrington, Cheshire WA4 4LX

I do find this place very dark and a bit depressing . The food is ok but nothing spectacular. The Wacky warehouse is good for younger children although a bit small and it does have a reasonalbe outdoor play area for the warmer, dryer months

Laser Quest - Warrington

Norman Street, Evans House, Warrington, Cheshire WA2 7HW

21-11-2008

This is a real boys enjoyment. I found this place to be quite loud inside and very dark (i know it has to be dark to play the game) I did think that in areas outside of the game it could have been a little brighter. That said boys love it here and always have a great time indulging the testosterone. Great for those big little boys too.

Giggles Play Mill - Warrington

3rd Floor Evans House,, Norman Street,, Warrington, Cheshire WA2 7HW

This is a great place to entertain the kids for a few hours, large area of play for children from 0 - 5. A small climbing wall is aviable for them to feel grown up. There is a nice seting area for the adults to have a coffee while still being able to see the children. A bouncy castle is available for parties. The disadvantage to this place is that it is on the top floor and the lift is very old and slow.

Geronimo's - Warrington

348 Wilderspool Causeway, Warrington, Cheshire WA4 6QP

20-11-2008

Great children’s soft play area, lovely and clean and the kids love the parties here. The food is lovely and reasonably priced. The party bags are far superior to any others in the locality. Highly recommended

Crackpots Ceramic Cafe - Warrington

The Bridge Shopping Centre, Knutsford Road, Warrington, Cheshire WA4 1JR

20-11-2008

This has a small indoor play area for the kids to let off stea before settling down to some art work. Pick your ceramic and get painting. I think the ceramic prices range from £3.50 upwards. The only drawn back is that you have to go back a few days later to collect your finished piece. However this is nice entertainment for the kids and you can have a coffee and relax while they are doing it. What could be better.

Cranage Hall - Cranage

Byley Lane, Knutsford, Cheshire CW4 8EW

This hotel has all the usual facilities taht you would expect, pool, restaurant etc. It is licensed to perform weddings and is the ideal place to hold your wedding celebration. It is great for conferences and business meetings. Equally just as good for the occassional overnight stay.
