It was 5 stars, but is closed now, soon to become a Tesco Superstore, just across the road from a big Sainsbury's. Another victory over the lovely independents by supermarkets that idiots cant be bothered to drive an extra 10 minutes to get to. 

Down as a Deli, desperately needs to go in Cafés as well. Just had one of the best burgers of my life here and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Friendly and quick service, and a homemade chocolate brownie to die for, with nuts and chocolate bits and gooey toffee bits. A burger and beer for 8 pounds and a small but bustling Sunday market. Hidden gems of Margate!

Decor and frontage straight out of the late sixties, the food is burgers, pasta and steak fare with excellent fresh fish specials. Chips are excellent, but the mushrooms were wrinkled. Basic food done well. Only Fosters or John Smiths on tap :( . Family friendly, the tables aren’t shoehorned in so there is a decent amount of space inside for buggies and the staff were very tolerant of my rampaging toddler.

12.30 on a sunny August 1st, there were 2 boards outside, Family Beer garden, and Mushy’s Cafe. The front door is too narrow for a buggy, the chef had just gone out, and the paving slab garden would have been Ok, but for the rusty motorbike and copious dog poo. Less than impressed.

Good pub food at a good price, no bells and whistles, busy lunchtime, so telephone in an order if you're tight for time. Good beers and guests- today, bombardier and london pride.

A family run café serving good food for a decent price. Decorated in a mediterranean style, with art displayed on the walls from the neighbouring gallery. Logie Steading also has a beautiful river walk, children's play area, furniture, crafts and second hand book shop.

A mix of crafts, gallery, furniture, a second hand bookshop that will take hours off your life and "The Olive Tree", a lovely café that reliably serves good food at decent prices. Oh, and you can go for a walk and play on the kiddies assault course.

Basic decor, but nice place settings, very good food, friendly Sicilian chef/proprietor who doesnt skimp on the portion sizes. Lovely evening with a great asset to the community.

Update 16/4 Closed. Used to be a lovely boutique of unusualness, has now changed hands and is a bland card and candle gift shop. Worth a look if you are gift shopping, but don't get your hopes up.
