Lush - Hull

24 Whitefriargate, Hull HU1 2EX

26-01-2009

You can find this shop with your eyes closed because the smell is so strong. Its a really nice smell and the products are of good quality. I bought a shampoo bar, which I found to be really difficult to use. It didn’t dissolve easily and so rubbing it on my head just tangled my hair. The bath bombs are fun. A great place to buy gifts.

Kathmandu - Hull

177 Ferensway, Hull HU1 3UA

26-01-2009

It’s a shop aimed at teenagers who want lots of piercings and wooden things that look cool in their bedroom. To anyone else it’s a shop filled with things you would never want or need.

University Of Hull - Hull

Cottingham Road, Hull HU6 7RX

26-01-2009

Hull University has a nice small campus, so everything is in easy walking distance. Hull itself is a bit rough, but the student areas are reasonably safe. The student life is wonderful, and the union caters well for a cheap budget.

University of Nottingham - Nottingham

University Park, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire NG7 2RD

26-01-2009

A very nice university. High ranking, beautiful buildings and grass. There are geese that roam the place and a huge pond for them to sit in. It is only accessable by bus or car. There are no trains or trams that go near it. However the bus does drive into the university and drops you off in the centre.

St Mary's and All Saints Church - Chesterfield

Church Way, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S40 1HJ

26-01-2009

The crooked spire of the church is a well known attraction in Chesterfield. When it was built it wasn’t meant to be crooked, but over time it bent and is now quite a pretty sight. It is located right next to the tourist information, so it could be your first tourist stop. It’s not worth making a special trip to Chesterfield for though.

Sainsbury's - Mansfield Woodhouse

Westfield Lane, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire NG19 6AH

26-01-2009

A local convenient shop. They sell everything you would expect in a small supermarket. The prices are only a little higher than in a bigger supermarket. Car parking is not so much fun, and it’s better to park on Devon Drive than in their car park, because there are cars going in and out of this timy space all the time.

Serendipity 3 - New York

East 60th Street 225, 10022 New York

26-01-2009

One of the most famous places to go for dessert in new York. Worth trying once, especially for their frozen hot chocolate. Bot way too over-priced to make a habit of it.

Houlihan's - Jersey City

State Route 35 2136, Holmdel, 07733 Jersey City

26-01-2009

Good food and a wide variety of options. You have to wait for a table on busy nights. Reasonably prices and easy to get to. I love their baked potato soup.

Airfield House and Farm - Dundrum

Upper Kilmacud Road, Dublin 14 Dundrum

26-01-2009

Fairly small and lackluster. Only worth a trip in early spring right after the baby lambs are born. It seems overpriced for what it is.

Museum of Lincolnshire Life - Lincoln

Burton Road, Lincoln, Lincolnshire LN1 3LY

26-01-2009

Complete waste of time. Perfectly suited for young school children on a class trip. For everyone else, you’ll be bored and wont learn a thing.
