I’ve been here a Few times during Weekend Visits to London and the Station is like the others.
Its busy during the weekdays, at weekends its quite calm, and trains run on time!
It is very easy to buy tickets or top up your oyster card and the gates are quick and easy to use. If your ticket doesnt work there is a manned exit where you can just show him/her your ticket.
The entrances are very well placed also, this is a key advantage
Overall I mark this Station a 4 Star

R N I B Bookstore - This is a Charity Bookstore with high quality, cheap books worth every penny that goes straight to the people that need them
The staff there are lovely and mostly older, which I think makes the store feel more warm and cosy.
The prices are of course cheap!
I recommend this store to anyone that is looking for a cheap good read

In Chelmsford I decided to go into this store and take a risk of my time and money!
I always thought that BHS Was for the older Generation but I was shortly shown it wasn’t, with all the young and stylish clothes for the new generation!
My kids even liked them which was a massive shock!
The children’s clothing is the best range I have seen around for a while!
Excellent quality and low prices!
I recommend to anyone that is looking for Stylish Clothes

Whsmith is the Local Newsagents that everyone knows and loves!
Whsmith stocks Christmas Cards, Magazines, Books, Computer games, Music, DVDs, Cafe, Royal Mail Post office and much much more!
A new addition to the store is the Post office moved from its spot down the road, and some people including me thought this wasn’t a clever decision as the queues have got even more unbarable!
Overall WHSmith Chelmsford Is our local store with a twist

3, The network everyone should beware!
The 3 Store isn’t much better anyway as there are quite a few bad points about it!
The Staff are always pushy and always try to get you into a contract not PAYG.
The phones are always expensive and the sims are GLUED into the phone so you can’t unlock and move!?
The Network itself isn’t much better as the network is mainly focusing on 3G AND Skype??
I really don’t recommend this store

Last time I walked past Ideal Fones, I swear it had closed down and I think it has as it didn’t have much buisness
When it was open, I went in there a few times to get my phone fixed (Samsung BTW) and they were very helpful and friendly and got my phone fixed asap.
Just wish it was open!

My best and cheapest Sports Store!
When you walk in you are welcomed by lots of sports shirts and one day bargains that you just can’t say no too!
The store is divided into different sections such as football, shoes and leisure.
I always find the staff friendly and helpful which I just love in a big chain store!
Overall this store deserves its massive 5 stars

Occasionally I visit Brentwood and go into this store.
With it’s bits and bobs which include Computer items, Home, Kitchen, Bathroom and more you really can’t go wrong!
The pricing on most items are ok, and special deals are also standard - None that would blow you away!
The staff are always friendly and If you ask they can open up before you buy etc,
I gave it 4 stars due to the lovely staff, random items and the location right on the street

Hence the name Poundland everything is one tiny £1!
Amazingly most of the items are high quality and they don’t look cheap one bit,
Some big names like Lynx, Cadbury and Apple are just some of them
The staff in there are all eastern european so they don’t smile much or speak english well, but it still gives the feel of the store.
Overall I really recommend PoundLand

Lloyds TSB Bank in Writtle is quite a small bank that blends in well with the small town of Writtle.
I only used it once but it was closing as I went in so I didn’t have long.
Although I liked the Staff the size annoyed me slightly as it didn’t have all the facilties of a normal bank.
But as a town in and out bank, it gets my vote.
Looking for a bit more? - Go into Chelmsford Town
