I like the concept of an American diner just off the A21. Food was good. Staff were friendly, although a little slow on the coffee refills. Was thinking this would be good to have a kids’ party. Quite cheap, at £50 for the lounge area.

Great pub all year round. Good food & beer, friendly staff and lively entertainment with regular live bands.
Just had lunch here and it was tasty but a little overpriced for a veggie burger (£8). Cod & chips was a bit more reasonable for the same price. A couple of recommendations for the menu and they would be more choices for vegetarians (NB fish fingers aren’t veggie, as indicated on the menu) and a different fish choice for the fish & chips option (‘Fish Fight’ on C4 has campaigned for a move away from cod).
Would definitely recommend as a family friendly, cosy pub on a winter’s day with a real fire. I’ve also been here on a Summer’s evening and it’s a lively venue with a great atmosphere.
