This large centre has 32 pool tables, 10 snooker tables, 2 carambole tables, an air hockey table and a lot of video games. It’s non-smoking, the drinks and table rates are not too expensive and there is free parking next door. The tables and cues are of reasonable quality, some better then others. Look for a good cue, and ask for a different table if you are not satisfied.

If your are looking for something different to eat, try this Moroccan restaurant! They serve snack food and full meals, drinks, and sweets. I recommend the Mint tea and Pastella as appetizer, and a Tajine (or Tagine, a type of dish found in the North African cuisines of Morocco, which is named after the special pot in which it is cooked) as a main course. They also have very nice couscous, but this is only available in the weekends.
The owner is very nice and will serve specialties at your request. We once had a very nice tasting Moroccan sweet cake for a birthday party.

This is not the cheapest place around to buy a motorbike, or have yours checked or repaired, but it is the best! The service is fast, the people are friendly, and they know what they are talking about. They have a large collection of new and used bikes, clothes, helmets and other stuff. They also rent out bikes at reasonable rates. Easy access by public transport to Hengelo and Enschede in case you have to leave your bike overnight.

I guess we all know Ikea. Not too expensive, with a broad offer in furniture and related stuff. This one is particularly nice, since it’s not only easy to reach, situated at an exit of the A1, but also has a large parking space, which it shares with a several other stores and a Japanese wok restaurant. Unfortunately it’s quite crowded during the weekends. Try visiting it during workdays.

They have the best snack food for the low prices. Especially the burgers rock! A good place to go after a night of drinking…

I agree with Sliv, this is the best coffeeshop in Enschede. Nice people, open layout and nice couches to hang in.
