C'était un bon hôtel à l'époque, mais je crois qu'il commence à accuser son âge. Son emplacement, à côté de l'autoroute M77, était sûrement un atout auparavant, mais c'est maintenant un handicap : l'accès se fait par le village plutôt que par la route principale, même si ça ne rallonge pas trop le parcours. On entend le trafic dans la plupart des chambres, certaines étant un peu mieux que d'autres. Les chambres sont correctes mais un peu vieilles, et elles sont plutôt chères au vu de la qualité. Le coin bar a un charme d'antan et je vous le recommanderais, mais vous pouvez trouver de meilleurs hôtels dans les environs pour le même prix.

Éste fue un buen hotel en sus tiempos, pero parece que empieza a notarse la edad. Su ubicación, en el pasado tal vez algo bueno, es ahora una desventaja, junto a la autovía M77. El acceso es a través del pueblo en vez de desde la calle principal, aunque esto no afecta mucho el tiempo del viaje. El ruido del tráfico es un problema en la mayoría de las habitaciones, aunque las hay mejores y peores. Las habitaciones están bien, aunque anticuadas, y es bastante caro para lo que tiene. La zona del bar es encantadora y tradicional, y bien recomendable. Hay mejores hoteles en la zona por un precio similar.

It’s not really a large store, but it suitable for the town in which it is situated.

This is now a Currys Digital store, and has been for some time! Ahem Qype!

It is an extremely small store, which is crammed full of a decent selection of gear. Most things can be ordered in, and despite its small size, it does support the ring and reserve service on the currys website.

The town is extremely limited in electrical stores, and this is the best you are going to get!

This is a very small independent bookshop, with limited stock. It does however give a small amount of extra choice and competition for WH Smith’s as the towns only other book store.

Prices are typical of an independent store. Be warned!

This is a pretty small ASDA store, but has a decent range considering. There is a small sample of the choice available in other Asda stores from all depts. A small entertainment section is near the entrance, and a few electrical items too.

There are also a number of self-service checkouts which save a lot of time.

Staff always really friendly, and they do some mean ploughmans! Decent quality food, and a healthy alternative to the chippy 2 doors up, or Subway in town!

Also do baked potatoes and other hot items, and a range of cakes/buns.

To confirm the earlier review - there is no MAC store in Meadowhall, although some products are available in the department stores.

This is a bizarre little subway, located in the middle of no where in an industrial estate / business park.

It is closed at weekends, and is there to serve the people working in nearby offices.

Its quite large, and gets extremely busy at lunchtime. They provide a “Q-Jump” fax service. I’m not sure if they do deliveries, but I would doubt it.

It’s a shame it is not open at weekends, as it would be easier to get to than most subways!

This is another larger subway with plenty of seating inside. The “production line” doesn’t seem to run quite as smoothly as the Retford store, but its not too shabby.

This store is also open overnight nearer the weekend but does not offer a delivery service.
