I have recently been to belisano and have to say it is a shame they have all these bad reviews on here caused by the previous owners. The new owners have only had the salon less than a year. It was clean and newly painted with lovely wallpaper and decor,the staff were friendly. I had a lovely pamper package and gel nails and was really pleased. The pedicure room is lovely. They are now asking there regular clients to comment on there experience to help them with these bad reviews from the previous owner so pay no attention it is a completly different salon.

I too have been ripped off by the old owners of the salon. I appreciate that the new owners cannot be held responsible for what the old people have done but I’m now down £198 of my money that I paid in cash. I have set up a facebook group called Bleisano rip off scam so please join so we can join forces in the hope to gather our hard earned money back.

I have paid for treatment at this salon for laser hair removal, I paid in advance for 6 sessions and like others on here nothing to do with Groupon, I went down to the salon for my 2nd appointment to find the salon closed, due to unforeseen circumstances.
I paid on debit card in advance and my bank says I can’t get a refund! The salon has reopened supposedly under new ownership? or are we being conned? with Sarah still working there, there is no way a business changes hands through solicitors in just 4weeks there is something not right, esp when the previous owners have left staff unpaid as I have been told.
This salon ran two Groupon deals recently, one just a week before they closed, which was very popular, if what I have been told by Sarah is to be believed, then the owner knowingly took people’s money with the knowledge that they were closing the business and that the contracts wouldn’t be honored which is robbery. I have researched this salon and found that it went into liquidation with an appointed receiver in February 2011, then started trading again with the same name and telephone number, under a owner called Simon Futcher who lives in Wales, yet again the salon has reopened with the same name and telephone number, trading standards need to investigate what is going on here. After reading the reviews on here I wish I had never set foot in the place, and am definitely taking the matter further to try and get my money back.

I have read all reviews and i am sorry that you have been treated like this which has resulted in unfavourable reviews. I can promise this to all previous and new customers that we are going to make sure that none of this happens again and that you are satisfied customers. Also if anyone knows the names of the employees who were rude please tell me.

And as a gesture of goodwill for previous and new customers once we open i would like to offer a 10% discount on all services that cost £30 and above first time round.

Oh, How I wish I had come accross this site before hainding over £80 of my CASH direct to that stupid woman! :o( Can’t believe I was so foolish, anyone who has paid via a credit/debit card – contact the bank etc as they should be able to help you… My hubby is a police officer icovering that area so I’m going to see if he can help but I doubt it very much, I was gutted yesterday thinking they had just closed for an emergency afternoon, I’m now utterly gutted now!

After seeing previous reviews on 13th Oct 2011, and being due to have an appointment myself on 14th Oct I rang Belisano however I got no answer and their voicemail box was full.
I am a groupon customer so I called Groupon who informed me the business has now closed and I am refunded the full amount. I hope Groupon get intouch with their other customers directly from Belisano.

I hope all you non-Groupon customers of Belisano are able to track them down and get any money owed to you back! Good Luck!

I turned up to this salon today 13/10/11 had an 11.30am app for lazer hair removal which myself and my sister had paid for in advance nothing to do with Groupon. Only to find the salon closed due to unforeseen circumstances on making enquiries next door they informed us that the shop has been closed for 3 weeks and they didn’t know what was going on at all!!! there are lot’s of post behind the door and a few nasty written messages from upset clients who had appointments like us.
I phoned Groupon as recently this business had an offer running to be told they had been informed it is now closed. NOT A HAPPY BUNNY AT ALL they have £200 of our money!!!!!!!!!
any information about this business would be greatly appreciated.

I have had a bad experience as well as others have mentioned. I seriously think it has to be taken up by a higher authority who regulates or looks into compensation for customers. Does any one have any clue how to go about this? I am a GP and am strictly regulated by my professional body. I wonder who checks on these beauty salons.

A horrible salon: dirty, rude staff, no consistency in the treatments (one session they would go over each area twice with about 10 laser blasts, the next they give just 3 blasts to each area). The place needs a good clean. I bought the laser hair treatment and if it had not been pre-paid i would have looked for a deal elsewhere. As others mentioned – nobody answers the phone or picks up the messages so if an appointment needs changing you’re in trouble.

The customer service at this salon is horrific!

I bought a session of laser hair removal treatment. I made an appointment and due to unforseen circumstances (I was in the hospital after a family bereavement) I missed my appointment. When I rang to rearrange the rude receptionist said that I couldnt rearrange (I had paid up front for all 6 sessions) and that that would be classed as another session even though I didn’t attend and even though I hadn’t had the treatment. When I explained to her my circumstances and apologised for not attending she not only had a lack of sensitivity but had the audascity to turn around and say “Well I waited for you for half an hour until 7pm on a cold and dark night”…. She parks her car 2 metres away from the salon. Disgusted.

Very unprofessional. Very rude. The salon is not clean. The treatment does not work!

Avoiding this salon at all costs! I now have only half my eyelashes thanks to them and I’m getting married in 10 weeks!

I booked in for weekend lashes 11.30am. Recieved a confusing answering phone message the day before teling me my appointment was an hour earlier than I had made it and that their the girl calling didn’t understand if I was booked in for lashes or nails or both so call her back to confirm.

I tried calling and must of wasted a few quid just getting the answer machine, couldn’t get through. The following morning I had to get up earlier than planned after a big night out so I wasn’t pleased to call them to fine out what was going on and what time the appointment was actually now for, called about 6 times and left 2 messages. Baring in mind I was going to have to leave for the appointment within the next half hour it was really annoying.

I finally got through to find all was fine they knew it was just lashes now and I could go for the time I originally booked. Why they couldn’t have
just communicated with each other in the first place instead of leaving a garbled answer phone message to me I don’t know.

So I got the lashes done and they looked awful, really fake with loads of glue all messy on top! Not happy, within the hour bits of lash had fallen out! I got them done for a wedding which was a few days away and they looked a mess.

Had to go back to get them to fill in the gaps. They didn’t charge to fix them. Then again within the hour 3 bits of lash had fallen out! All the ones the girl had newly put on!

The girl that treated me, was blond and stunk of fags! Disgusting them she is right in your face and touching your eyes with her smokey hands!!

Salon was dirty and the treatment room as walls that don’t reach the ceiling so you can hear all the noise in reception, radio playing, phone ringing, customers arriving!

The worse part of the entire experience was that they never told me that my real lashes would fall out when I took the false lashes off!!!

They told me to lye down for half an hour with cotton wool pads with baby oil on my eyes to remove the lashes. All I actually had to do to remove the lashes was gentles wipe a bit of baby oil with my finger tip over the lash and they instantly fell off but took my real lashes with them as they had glued my real lashes!

I now have bald eyes and I have read it could take 4 months for them to fulling grow back. I get married in 10 weeks!! I couldn’t be more angrey!

Went for a full body massage after checking their website. Website advertised £45.00 – charged £50 for an interrupted hour. Lots of noise from surrounding treatment rooms and reception. Could not relax at all.
Staff dressed in their own clothes. Very unprofessional. Very disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone!

ha ha I didn`t even know you could leave reviews for Salons but now Im here......Sarah is one of the rudest and unprofessional people I have ever met at this salon! I bought a "deal' off the net for 6 sessions of IPL..I have had 2 then they have cancelled the 3rd appt without telling me so I turned up and now I can't book another appt til end of Aug! I asked for a call back from teh manager to explain it wasnt my error, low and behold nothing now I cant get thru as the call minder is full. What a joke. The salon is dirty, no loo roll, carpets minging and whilst a few of the girls have been nice Sarah in particular is cagey, uneasy and inappropriate. Dump of a place wo`nt be around for long.

ABSOLUTELY HERE HERE!!!! - I HAVE JUST HAD THE PHONE PUT DOWN ON ME BY A VERY VERY RUDE RECEPTIONIST AT BELISANO HALE BEAUTY - WHEN I COULDNT BOOK MY APPTS IN ADVANCE BY EVEN A MONTH AND SUGGESTED THIS WASNT VERY GOOD AS BUSY PEOPLE NEED TO PLAN AND BOOK MONTHS AHEAD ESPECIALLY FOR KEY TIMES I WAS TOLD THAT WAS NONE OF MY BUSINESS HOW THEY RAN THEIR DIARY!!!! I ASKED FOR THE OWNERS NAME AND SHE TOLD ME IT WASNT APPROPRIATE FOR HER TO GIVE ME THE NAME AS THE OWNER LIVED IN WALES AND RARELY VISITS - WHEN I ASKED HER TO CLARIFY IF SHE WAS CALLED SARAH SHE PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME!!!! I WONDER IF THE OWNER IN WALES KNOWS WHAT IS GOING ON AT THIS SALON AND THAT POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS ARE BEING TREATED SO RUDELY!!!?

Don't bother, I visited this salon on Friday 11/03/11 for a pedicure and a facial, I have had many pedicures but never had the foot bath put onto the treatnent couch so right away I doubted the girl had much idea, not a very pleasent experiance. The salon was cold and dirty and outside the front door was filthy, the receptionist went outside for a fag, the music being played in the salon was not at all fitting (too loud and bad taste for a salon).
Now I go up a filthy staircase to a treatment room, again loud music playing and a very old noisy fan heater in the room I asked the girl to turn the music off, she then put some softer music on, and also turned the heater off.The facial was well, it's the norm for the therapist to explain what she is useing but that did not happen. When she had finished I had to ask for a tissue to wipe off excess oil on my chest and shoulders, I was glad to leave and would never return.( I give this salon 1 star and that is 1 to many)

I went for a hot stone massage, facial, hand and foot treatment to this salon January 2011. The salon was warm {first thing in the morning} and friendly. I went with my sister and we were both treated exceptionaly well. The girls were wonderful and I felt welcome and completely relaxed. Thank you for a wonderful experience and thanks for the tea. Excellent.

I VISITED THIS SALON FOR A FACIAL COSTING £45.. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN EVERY ASPECT OF THE SERVICE THAT I RECIEVED...I WAS VIRTUALLY IGNORED ON ENTERING, I WAS TAKEN TO THE TREATMENT ROOM WHERE I WAS LEFT TO HANG MY OWN COAT IN A VERY CHILLY UNWELCOMING ROOM.. THE GIRL HARDLY SPOKE .DID NOT ASK ABOUT MY SKIN TYPE AND USED PRODUCTS THAT SMELT OF LAVENDER .. I WAS NOT OFFERED A DRINK .. THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK 35 MINS!!! WHAT A RIP OFF!! JUST WISH I HAD COMPLAINED AT THE TIME ... REALLY FELT LIKE A CONVEYOR BELT ..TERRIBLE
