I think the worst Fish and Chip shop in the west midlands is right here in Halesowen.Value wise 1 scoop of chips is the portion.Most shops this would be a childs cone.Myself I can pick up a bag 55kg of the potatoes for £4.79 retail.

One of the defining experiences of Aldeburgh. Eating fish and chips on the sea front.

There are actually two chippies in the High Street in Aldeburgh. One at the south end of the street and one more centrally placed - the central one has a cafe upstairs where you can sit down.

However then you miss the authentic experience.

The portions are great value for money and the chip shop is literally 2-mins walk to the pebble beach.

My only one gripe is that I happen to love steak and kidney pie and they don’t do pies :-(

The Fish and Chip Shop has been open and family run for over forty years and becomes more and more popular every year with the positive word of mouth message that is spread from whoever eats there. An ordinary fish and chip shop in appearance, don't be fooled, the locally attained freshly cooked fish is a Utopia or fish and chip fans. Highly affordable, regardless of it's almost cult fan base, if you are anywhere in Suffolk then you HAVE to go and try it. You may feel the queues area d eterrent and you can do without, but wait, there is a pub next door while you wait for your food to be cooked, which means not only do you not have to wait in line, but you can relax and anticipate the saliva inducing cuisine from what simply is THE Fish and Chip Shop.
