Laid-out on just one level, this store has a dated feel to it and I have to admit, for me, it’s far from the shiniest star in the grand M&S constellation. On my last visit, when the sale was coming to an end, the clothing area was pretty disastrous and chaotic - far from inviting (or even remotely tempting) to peruse.
Making allowances for that, I would still say that if you’re looking for anything other than the most basic clothing items you would do much better to visit one of their larger stores close-by (Westfield or Ken High, for example).
Food and drink is all located at the back of the store - perhaps that’s the strength and main focus of this branch.

Not a bad branch of M&S for a shopping centre that otherwise looks a little down at heel, with one too many discount sportswear stores.
After a period in the doldrums, M&S seems to be improving, and the menswear is certainly a good deal less dowdy than it was a few years ago, while still stocking at least some items my Dad can buy, as well as me.
It has a large frontage on King’s Street, opposite the King’s Mall and Lyric Theatre, and is easy to navigate as everything is on the ground floor. Although it’s not the largest branch in Lodnon, it has a good food section, and decent housewares and menswear departments. (I can’t comment on women’s clothing, I’m afraid).

I love M&S in Hammersmith which is located in King Street opposite the 'square’. It is a fairly large store that sells good quality foods, homewares (including a great 'value’ range), jewellery, men & womens clothes & schoolwear on occasions. It also has a nice range of Christmas gifts & books in at the moment with a 3 for 2 offer on selected items. The staff are helpful & polite & the store is air conditioned. Everything is on the one floor with automatic doors so easy access for buggies & wheelchairs.

Large foodstore selling a wide variety of well chosen produce and pre-packed food.
Very good gourmet style meals and side dishes for quick preparation. Tasty too.
Expensive.

The M&S in hammermith in in the middle of the high street but is not the biggest but then not much else of it’s kind in hammersmith. No cafe or toilet in this store which is a reflection on the size of the place. It does have a good food area but not much in the clothes section for men or woman.
For a proper m&S experience you would be better advised to go to the High St kensington branch which is one of the flag ship store from them in London. SO one of the better shops in hammermith but not a great m&S

I must have the Magnolia collection bath products:
talcum, soap, shower cream, and others…
Very cheap and fabulous!! Try it, nice boxes for gifts.

How could you possibly not like M&S? Well, my dad doesn't but that's because he's anti-semitic. However, I love it.
It is elegant, simple, classy stuff - regardless of whether you are buying food, clothes or homewares.
It is a bit on the pricey side though, and if I'm being honest, out of my usual price range, but I'll often opt for Simply Food if I want to treat myself to a nice sandwich for lunch.
Their underwear is generally great. Buy your hardcore everydayers and they will last, or treat yourself to something a little bit saucier that will also last.
I guess what I'm saying is that quality is the order of the day at Marks and Sparks. And no one could say it's too old fashioned or for OAPs since the onset of their hugely successful advertsing campaigns with the sassy French woman in her kinckers and Take That fronting up the men's wear (if you please).
Nice compatable store, has a bit of everything, including Hot cooked food.
Easily accessible, on King strret which is the High and Height of Hammersmith, right opposite the shopping station. a minute from the underground
Everything is on the same floor, it is very easy to move around in
It also has automatic doors for easy access
A store with all & all in various quantities.
