Only 5 minute bus ride from car park at East Midlands. Only 1 problem, we couldn't get in or out of the car park (shuttle plus) as they said we wasn't on their system even though we had pre booked and had our reference number. They eventually let us out. Dean
Have used Purple Parking on several occasions and have always been happy with their service. Used 'Meet and Greet' at Heathrow. On arrival I was met by a cheerful young man who gave directions to the Terminal. Unfortunately I had advised Purple of the wrong Terminal for my return, however after explaining this, the car was delivered to the correct Terminal without any fuss.
This is the second time i've used Purple Parking Business, and will continue to. The outbound process is very straightfoward, when you accept that they will park your car for you, and there's usually a bus to take you to the terminal straight away. The inbound process wasn't as good the second time, i did have to wait for a bus in the cold, but that could be said of many a shuttle service, i think though as they use Bus Stop 5 at T1, it's more exposed than the bus stops right outside the terminal. As always though, having my car in a space a few seconds from the drop off point, is a big highlight.
We used the parking facilities at Birmingham the service was very good there was a bit of a confusion as to the name of the place where we had to leave the car. I was looking for Purple Parking signs and I couldn't see it the only place was APA so eventually i went in there and it was the right place but it would have helped if when booking Purple had told us that it would be APA car park.
Excellent service from the office team - Tried to arrange a pick-up from the hotel where my wife and I were staying but too busy at that time. The drivers were very friendly. I shall use them again, although it is a fair distance from the Airport - the only negitive.
Platinum Parking, booked via Purple Parking, for Meet & Greet at Doncaster Robin Hood airport were excellent. Handed over my car in pouring rain but the hand-over was very swift with only one document to sign and as close as you could get to the departures area.. Clear instructions given regarding drop-off and collection and very good customer service all round. I would definitely recommemnd this service.
I'm from Birmingham so airport parking was essential, however this wasn't a car park it was more a square patch of land behind an industrial estate, huge pot holes negotiating your way around the back of many run down industrial units, my car tyre picked up a 6 in nail! But not phased thinking all would be well when we got to the car park the bus driver was ready to leave to the airport and shouted and I mean in a very rude manor that if we wasn't on the bus in 2 minuets he was going without us ! This is before we even got out the car! As I emptied the boot of my car he took the suitcases ( which I didn't want him to do ) as I know it takes a little longer than 2 minuets to check my car in, so I proceeded to the office (if that's what you call it) to check my car in, once I checked it in me and my friend walked towards the bus and he proceeded to drive off as we approached the door! This man was absolutely vial! So not the best start to my holiday, now thinking nothing else could be any worse with this car park, however to my dismay there was! On arrival back at the airport the same driver picked us up however he didn't say anything to us at all or anyone else for that matter on arrival back at the car park there were a line of cars with the engine running mine included, there was no checkout it was just a matter of getting in your car and driving off! Security is non existent I urge everyone who is thinking of booking car parking on a budget NOT too! Especially this car park anyway!

I have used Purple Parking a number of times now and have always been impressed. This time the parking was for Gatwick North - the car park was around 10-15 minutes away from the airport and the bus couldn't have been better timed on either the outbound or the return journey. The service and the price were both excellent - a flawless experience!
this is my third time parking at Purple Parking and again, i was pleased with the whole process. i booked on-line (simple process), got to the location, checked-in at the reception, parked the car and from then on, i was in the hands of Purple Parking. very frequent service to the airport (bus was already there and waiting), drivers are very helpful and friendly. on my return, i had misplaced my ticket, but a simple call to your call centre and my pick up was arranged. excellent job guys, keep up the good work! very pleased!
The process of booking online is quick and easy. The instructions received for where to meet the Purple Parking people were easy to follow. They were there ready for me when I arrived, even though I was a little earlier than my estimate. The process of dropping the car off was efficient and from parking to being at the departure desk took a matter of 5 minutes max.
Coming back, I rang the number provided and the automated message confirmed that my car would be waiting. I followed the instructions given on departure to collect my car. There was a queue of a couple of people ahead of me so I had to wait maybe 10 minutes, which was a little longer than I'd anticipated but it was a busy Friday rush-hour time, so not excessive. The collection was smooth, my car was nearby and from landing to leaving it was only 30 minutes in total.
Happy with this service and will definitely use it again.
I have used Purple several times previously. This time I used the Purple parking business site on Bath Road. Check- in was painless but then I had to wait some 20 minutes for a shuttle to the airport. They fortunately took this straight to the airport with me as the only passenger for which I was grateful as my closure of check-in time was getting uncomfortably close. The return journey went smoothly with only about a 10 minute wait for the shuttle. Purple are good value especially through their discount promotions, but be prepared for a wait for transfer.
I had a very good experience using purple parking, the staff were extremely helpful and professional could not do enough to help. Car had a flat battery on arrival back and the staff were wonderful and got me on my way very quickly by starting the car with one of their power packs. On the whole i would definately use them again and would recommend this service to my friends and family
East Midlands - Have used PP annually for all my trips made from EMids and over the years they have continued to make a great service even better. I have used the meet and greet several times in the early hours after a long flight and found it well worth the small extra payment. PP is still the cheapest for secure parking at EMids, staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Great service, will continue to use and recommend.
Having used the "Meet and Greet" service at other Heathrow terminals very successfully, I tried it at Terminal 5 for the first time. When I landed I rang PP as instructed and was told that my car was waiting for me - nothing else. The written instructions told me where to go to collect it - including the parking row. My previous experience was that I had to wait for the car but this time it was already waiting for me but locked and no representative in sight : so I rang the office. I was told that they were waiting with the key at the entrance to the car park. I went back again and spoke to a man who identified himself as PP and gave me my key. I had been given no instructions to look for a representative at the entrance and there was no sign indicating PP - they are not allowed to advertise I was told. All that was needed was an indication in the instructions that the representative would be waiting with the key at the car park entrance. As it was I spent an unnecessary 20 minutes looking lost: not the ideal end to a day's travelling.
We have used Central Car Storage at Luton Airport twice within the last few months. On both occasions we found the set up to be first rate. The car park itself is easy to find using their straightforward directions, even though when you approach it looks it doesn't look very impressive. Don't let that put you off. It's the best Airport Car Park we have ever used, and I think one of the reasons for that is that it's manned by people not machines. All the staff we met were helpful, pleasant and friendly. If they keep the less friendly ones away from the public then thats another plus point! Would recommend wholeheartedly.
We used this service for Heathrow terminal 3 November 2012. The whole thing ran like clockwork..! The people were friendly and helpful. Being focused on getting our luggage together and getting ready etc... I forgot my phone and wallet was in a pocket in the car. I remembered whilst in transit from Purple to the terminal, told the driver who radioed back to base and the next bus out arrived with my missing items. Disaster averted thanks guys..! The place looks a bit scruffy but service is fine and if you want a better location you can use the silver purple service for a few quid extra.
The service was excellent and we went on holiday knowing that our car would be safe with Purple Parking. On our return we were promptly collected, driven to our car, and Purple Parking even helped us when my car failed to start. This is a company you can trust with your car
Won't be using again. It's little things that can annoy - getting in your car on return to find the driver has deemed it necessary to move your drivers seat all the way back and down just to drive it 100 yards is just bloody mindedness and ignorant. Also, my car now appears to have a really bad transmission rumble. Can't prove they did something to it - but it had done 6 years of service with no transmission rumble before I'd left it with them.
