Friendly service, tasty crepes coffee and hot coco late. Relaxed though late on a Sunday. No hint of attacks as in other reviews.

My boyfriend and I have been attacked and insulted by a waiter and the manager. We are now bringing charges against them and the restaurant.

Review of Cafe L'Etincelle from 4 October 2010

I tried the brunch there on Sunday. The choice was purely on location as they have a lovely terrace next to the Rue de Rivoli and it was a sunny sunday. The food was decent enough - nothing exceptional though. They only have one choice of brunch so pity you can't opt for something a little bit different.

The price was a little expensive for what we had. Service was ok, nothing outstanding but quite slow at times.

You got lucky, I had absolutely horrendous service there. It was so bad we ended up leaving the place mid-way into what had been ordered. Their floor manager apparently doesn't think she should show any form of niceness to customers, and could pretty much be the poster child for the notorious bad service parisian places are so prone to deliver. Still pissed off a stopover at this place put a dent in an otherwise perfect sunny parisian afternoon.
