The Frog & Princess

Il y a déja presque dix ans, j'ai vécu à Paris pendant 13 mois. C'était formidable et le Frog and Princess est l'un des meilleurs endroits que j'ai connu.

Même maintenant que je ne suis plus étudiant, c'est le seul bar que je visite à chaque fois que je me trouves à Paris, et la magie est toujours là - toujours les jolies filles, les bavards, les bières à prix un peu choquants (mais en fait, voyant que c'est Paris c'est pas si mal).

En sommaire, un petit merveil :)

The Frog è una catena di brewpub stile inglese. Questo in particolare è nel cuore della movida universitaria tanto che di sabato sera è stato quasi impossibile entrarci. Una volta dentro ci siamo trovati completamente ammassati quasi da non riuscire a muoverci. Abbiamo evitato l'incubo di ordinare qualcosa al banco e abbiamo rinuotato tra la folla fino alla porta d'uscita. Musica forte, tantissimi giovani, per lo più anglofoni.

Excellent bar, behind St Sulpice, on a very lively street! Students only, quite loud, very nice atmosphere, home-made flavoured beers, original cocktails… Always packed with people, be carfeul! Every Tuesday evening, it’s student night, with all cocktails priced at 5euros and shots at 2euros!

Awesome place to spend an evening. The beer they brew is excellent and the food here is very good too (especially the curry). Friendly staff too. The only minor drawback is the shape of the inside of the bar is inconvenient when it gets crowded, but its worth putting up with as they have some excellent party nights here too.
