Compliment

Sorely disappointed with what is passed off as authentic tapas and sangria to unsuspecting visitors to Barcelona. This branch is located just off the busy La Rambla strip on the attractive shopping side-street of Carrer Boqueria. The decor is great and boasts the Gaudi touches but the 2 course 'tapas' menu included spaghetti offerings (carbonara arrived cold and in a solid mass) and meat lasagne (a bowl of melted cheese with traces of ground meat).
The sangria was also a disappointment, tasting more like fruit punch and ginger ale. I'd strongly advise to stay away and if you must eat around La Rambla it's better to grab a snack and walk to closeby Barceloneta or El Born.
