Service is both attentive & knowledgeable.
The decor may not be to everyone's taste, being more traditional curry house than elegant restaurant, but for me that just adds to the charm of the place.
I'll be going back again soon.
The long restaurant keeps the dining experience fairly personal as tables are single file.
The worst part of the restaurant is the toilet facility which is to the side of the main hallway where the door is merely shielded by a screen.
In summary this is agood quality indian restaurant which will not disappoint.

Fresh ingredients, freshly cooked, this could well be the best in the capital. Great staff and pleasant ambience. Excellent.

Very welcoming, friendly place. It was busy even at lunch which we took as a good sign. Service was very good for our large group and the food some of the best Indian I've tasted, between us we had masalas, tikas and tandoori with various rices. Really good and look forward to going back

The food and service is terrible.
I ordered a duck curry allegedly from the Hyderabad region. It arrived in a plastic 'bamboo-type' bowl, tasted mainly of pickle and the meat was some brown chunks - did not taste like duck. Similarly, the chicken tikka masala was so sweet that it was revolting. The vegetable curry was another brown concontion consisiting of fried onions - no other vegetables. The starters were clearly microwaved a - the onion bhaji has too hard to cut. I waited about 20 minutes for the main course, and later when I responded negatively to the enquiry from the waiter 'did you like your meal' he looked stunned, then assumed I was joking as I actually ate it - only because I was starving after the long wait.
Nothing subtle about the taste of the dishes. Truly horrible, worst Indian restaurant I have EVER been to.
Avoid at all costs.

Please don't waste your time and money. The food is awful - it's nowhere near authentic. Considering it is in Central London, it is a wonder how they can get away with plastic sheets on the tables, no napkins, wrong orders and staff that haven't got a clue what the dishes consist of. Keep walking down Tottenham Court Road, there's plenty more to choose from.
