4 reviews of Nozomi in English
Absolutely great food and great atmosphere. Went on a date there, but would say it’s more a place to go with friends. Bar downstairs transforms into a club to party after dinner, and the cocktails are fabulous (if not slightly pricey, but hey, it is Knightsbridge). Despite the music, it somehow maintains an ambiance and isn’t ‘noisy’ if that makes sense, so you can still enjoy your food. Great place and good service, expect to get merry!
boom boom place

A high volume musical restaurant that I have recently discovered. I really enjoyed my time there. Go for it if you are high & you want to enjoy.

Located on Beauchamp Place, you'd expect this swank Japanese resto to exude an upscale vibe and cater to A-list patrons (slebs such as Rihanna dine there). Of course the food's good too … but what I wasn't expecting to find was that it's actually pretty affordable.
As I and two dining companions discovered on a recent visit, one of Nozomi's bento boxes is considerably more than enough for one person. Nozomi has three different bento boxes with contents varying according to market availability and seasonality. There's the “classic” box at £18.95 including black cod, miso, maki rolls and plenty more; a midrange £26 bento; and a £48 luxury version packed with top Nippon nosh such as lobster tempura and Wagyu beef sirloin. Between the three of us, two bentos (the classic and the mid range) could not be completely consumed.
Come nightfall, Nozomi gets all swish and flashy. During our Friday lunch, we had the place to ourselves. As is so often the case with many of London's pricey fine dining establishments, if you can find some free time in the afternoon, a delicious bargain may be had.
