Called today, (nearest pub around) and sorprised how friendly the place was ..... good mix of clientele and seems to have lost some of the hooligans, Dad's drank here for years.... now he may be able to come back!

fosters,also deals on spirit and mixer @£1.99 worth a visit if in this area

Review of Tricorn Public House from 22 December 2009

For years this pub has been going down hill.
Such a shame.

Years back the food of a weekend afternoon used to be lovely.. great chef.
The mixed grill was really nice, worth visiting just for that.
I have friends in Runcorn hence visiting some of the pubs of a weekend, probably 9 years or so back now.
Myself and my friends stopped going a little after that when the food went downhill and the atmosphere was more of drunks and drugs and less about good old fashioned enjoying yourself.

This pub is known for drug users (smoking pot normally).
My friends in Runcorn no longer frequent it for that reason.
