For me personally the best Italian place in London.
The décor is simple, so is the food, but probably that’s the secret of its divine taste.
Their pasta with pesto is fabulous, nowhere else do they make is so well, and portions are generous, too. Pricewise, it’s comparable to popular Italian chains, with the difference their food really rocks!
But it’s not only pesto. Their mushroom risotto, hand-made cannelloni with spinach and ricotta and black seafood spaghetti prove their dishes are as good as only Italian food can be.
Falling in love with their vegetarian panini I was always trying to find something nearly as good during my trips to Italy, however, without success.
And if you don’t have enough, the place has also a small selection of Italian products, anything from panettone to mozarella.
Haven’t eaten in the actual restaurant before, but the takeaway food is delicious. Service here is really friendly and quick. Giulianos is perfect for a quick, tasty and reasonable lunch. It’s also proved useful to buy some traditional ingredients in the shop.
As a worker in Richmond, after sampling many cafes and food stalls, this is absolutely the best deli and casual dining place in Richmond. There are plenty of posh restaurants and cafes, however this food is of the same quality.
You can eat in or take away. Pastas are amazing - and reasonably priced. The Seafood squid ink pasta is the best. Not too large a serving you feel bloated, but not too small you are hungry.
The eat in area upstairs can get crowded and a bit noisy at lunchtimes.
Very Italian service - this usually means friendly but sometimes they get too busy and forget a couple of things.
A hidden gem. Tucked away off the hustle bustle of Richmond high street, Giullianos is THE best place to grab lunch in Richmond.
Run by a friendly set of friends and family, the environment is always welcoming. But service is super fast - which is great if, like me, you're popping in to grab some hot freshly-made pasta on my lunchbreak. And if you don't feel like choosing one of the pasta dishes, there are paninis galore for your consumption!
Also, if you fancy cooking at home, they have just about every italian ingredient for you to buy and take away with you.
And if you're looking to eat in, head upstairs for the quiet small dinning room.
Love this place.
