CarCaptain Driving Schools

DEFINITELY a good choice going with car captain. I'd been driving (or attempting to drive!) for about 7 years, off and on with lessons, you know the drill. It wasnt getting me anywhere, and I just thought 'right lets get it done'. Im also heading off travelling and need my license for when im away, and the trip starts in almost a month, so speed of service was imperative. CarCaptain did not disappoint at all! Yolanda was incredibly efficient and helped me find not only an instructor but also my test within literally a week. I thought i was gonig to need about 25-30 hours of driving, but after speaking to Yolanda she suggested I took less as she thought I had enough previous experience, whereas most companies are more than happy to take your money and let you do the extra hours unnecessarily - I even got some money back after doing my test! 
My instructor was more than helpful, and a good laugh too - theres nothing worse than having an awkward silence in the car when you are already feeling nervous about being on the road - hats off to Larkland. 
All in all a very good experience, i would recommend this company to all of my friends and family!

I honestly thought that this was an amazing experience using CarCaptain, I had heard about using an intensive course before from a friend and when i decided to go through Car Captain, i passed!!! I thought the course really contributed in helping me to brush up on any minor mistakes and problems I had in my driving, the instructor from CarCaptain was very calm and provided an excellent service in aiding me to pass. I had 3 hours practice before the test date and 3 hours on the test day. And the date for the test was booked quite quickly so I had the date I wanted rather then having to wait for a very long time. Being that my Theory pass certificate was running out I needed to pass quick, and I cannot praise CarCaptain enough for their help. Thanks!!

After 35 hours of driving lessons I was still not near test standard and my theory certificate was about to expire. I called Carcaptain as a last resort to try to pass my test before the theory ran out! It was a very good decision. The person I spoke to on the phone was very calm and not at all fazed by the tight deadline - we had just a week to go until my theory ran out. My instructor was Bashir, and he was a brilliant teacher. I learnt more with him in one day than in the previous 20 hours of lessons, and suddenly felt that I really knew what I was doing, because he was able to explain everything so clearly and patiently to me. I still can't quite believe that I managed to pass my test, but I'm so pleased - very many thanks go to Bashir and to Carcaptain for an excellent service!

After a few hours of lessons with other instructors, I wanted to pass quickly so I called Carcaptain. Their service was phenomenal - even though I was on holiday abroad, they were able to find me an instructor, book 20 hours of lessons, and get me a test only a week later.

Thanks to the professionalism and experience of their instructor, Gerry, I was able to pass first time with only 3 minors, despite limited experience and a lot of nerves. The Carcaptain staff were supportive and helpful at all times - finding me a test fast, finding me an instructor near me, and even texting me to wish me luck and congratulate me before and after.

If you've been putting off learning to drive, or you've had bad experiences elsewhere, put them aside, and trust Carcaptain. I'm sure they'll help you as much as they helped me.

From the moment I called CarCaptain and spoke to Yolanda she was more than happy to get things moving and find me an instructor for my Intensive Course and within a few days I had been told that my instructor would be Johan. I had already had driving lessons in the past but due to university etc I was unable to commit my self to starting to drive again therefore getting back behind the wheel, after passing my Theory Test 2 years ago with the fear of it running out and taking it again plus knowing I could possibly be taking my test in a matter of days was both daunting and exciting! 

Thank God i found carcaptain. After years of changing my driving instructors, forwarding my driving test then cancelling the test. Iam so happy i came across carcaptain. I found the number online and after reading the reviews i called carcaptain and spoke to a lovely lady (yolander). i was feeling really low wid no confidence n worried about my test. yolander was very understanding and listened to me chatting away. for the first time someone was listening. the first day i rang carcaptain yolander arranged a lesson for me on the same day, WHAT A RESULT!

The first day I rang carcaptain they were able to arrange a lesson for me on the same day. I had a lesson with sodaf (my instructor now). she’s very professional, yet really patient and a lovely person to work with. since taking lesson’s with sodaf I feel much more confident. I realy like her way of teaching and would highly recommend CARCAPTAIN to everyone.

For the first time iam looking forward to my driving test date. why didnt i find carcaptain before i keep asking myself, well i jus didnt look over the net.

After a bad experience with 5Day in Norwich I was apprehensive of doing another intensive course. Turns out I had nothing to worry about! They arranged a test quickly and efficiently even though I was really specific about both the date and time I wanted to do. Within a couple of days of getting on the phone with them they had secured a test 11 days later and arranged the time I wanted for my lessons.
My driving instructor was lovely, really patience and managed to iron out the bad habits I picked up from 5Day.
I took my test today and passed, but to be honest whether or not I passed I would still be writing them a great review – Its a great service!

I initially tried to book the test date myself, but could only find a test date 3-4 months in the future. As a result I searched Google and found Carcaptain who were able to find me a test date two weeks later. The second time I requested a specific date from Carcaptain. Carcaptain was able to arrange that specific test date for me. I am very impressed with Carcaptain that they were able to do this. I had two instructors who were both very helpful and taught me all the things that I needed to know in order to pass the test. In my country we are driving on the right-hand side and therefore I needed all the help to conform to all the driving regulations in the UK. Carcaptain helped me with this and as a result I have passed my driving test!

After failing twice with the wrong instructor, I decided to use CarCaptain services which seemed to have high pass rates. I had a couple of lessons with a brilliant instructor called Jim and passed with two minors. He immediately spotted my main problem which was confidence and made me a good and safe driver. I never write reviews generally but I’m so happy with how they dealt with me and with the fact that they didn’t just care about taking my money like other driving schools that I decided to leave a review. If you want to learn how to drive and you want nice people to help you out with it, look no further!

I was recommended to Carcaptain by a friend who had experienced excellent service from Carcaptain. I decided to give Carcaptain a try and must admit that I’m very pleased with my choice. I was very impressed with the services of Carcaptain. The speed and efficiency of Carcaptain allowed me to get a test date five days after I have asked Carcaptain to arrange a test date. Julian, who was my instructor, was very good and capable. I felt very comfortable during the driving lessons and had a lot of fun. I was over the moon in receiving my driver’s license and I am very pleased with the services of Carcaptain! I did a 33h intensive driving course and passed the test the first time around, although I had to temporarily suspend the course due to work commitments. Due to my work schedule I needed flexibility and I also wanted to do my intense driving course in a very short period. Co-captain was very helpful in this regard.
I experienced Carcaptain as very flexible and friendly! I can recommend them to everybody. I had a very good driving instructor (Sunny) with a unique driving instruction technique which helped me quite a lot. I felt very prepared at the day of the test. Overall it was a very joyful experience.

I searched Google for intensive driving courses and found that Carcaptain was the best value for money. I just wanted to pass my test as quickly as possible. My experience with my instructor was brilliant. He was very good and he knew exactly what to teach me and how to motivate me. I felt very confident at the day of the test. Carcaptain took a total of seven days from getting me from not being able to drive to passing my driving test! I received 35 hours of training in a week. Carcaptain delivered on their promises and now I have my driving licence! The course setup was very easy, it was easy to pay and everything just went very smoothly.

I just finished a 25 hour course with CarCaptain. I am pleased to say I passed my test and am over the moon! I had completed 5/6 lessons a long time ago and had also practiced with my parents and grandparents but was nowhere near test standard. I needed a lot of perfecting and polishing up but had previously grasped the general basic driving skills. I wanted to do the course as I had time off being between jobs and had not progressed with weekly lessons before. I just wanted to get it done and all organised quickly which CarCaptain was able to do for me at quite short notice. The other companies I called could not offer the dates I was looking for, but CarCaptain had availability straight away. This was definitely the best way for me to get my licence, I had tried doing weekly lessons before and things just kept getting in the way so it worked much better for me to focus on driving intensively and there was a positive outcome at the end of it! My instructor Thaya was quite strict but I feel this actually worked to my advantage. He had lots of experience and knew the test routes well. I would recommend Thaya and CarCaptain especially to those with a bit of driving experience who want to get their licence quickly!

My praise for the services I received from Car Captain will always be positive. I was dealt in a professional way by professional people who seemed eager to get my driving test passed as much as me. I got my test within 8 days from when I 1st called them and also my lessons were arranged on the same week also. My driving tutor was fantastic and was extremely helpful as well as motivational in me passing. Regular updates on my performance before and after the test from Car Captain was also pleasing. The main success story of my course with CarCaptain is the time in which they managed to arrange it. Essentially we did it over three days; two and a half days really. Three days of driving and a test on the forth day. It was incredibly successful and very encouraging especially regarding the intensive driving side of things. If you want to be successful you need to focus on what you're doing and taking the lessons over consecutive days really worked for me.

I think that an intensive course is much more efficient than weekly lessons. You end up being much more in the zone; you are eating, sleeping and breathing driving for the whole time that you are with the company. You're completely immersed and become much. much more efficient. It's better than taking breaks from it.

The office staff at CarCaptain are fantastic, when I enquired I had the details sent over straight away. In only 24 hours I had a complete break down of the course. They kept in touch with me by email, phone and text message which meant I could reach them at any time & they would be happy to help. When my son is old enough to begin his driving lessons I would definitely like him to take an intensive course with CarCaptain. I've already recommended their services to everyone in my restaurant; even to people who already have passed their test and just need a refresher course.

I was blown away with the efficiency of this top class intensive course driving school. There are no other intensive course driving schools that could cater for the demands which I placed on them. Carcaptain found me a test at my Test centre on the same day a booked with them.
They then not only had me driving in no time at all but all the lessons were when I could do them. The instructor was just the best. Thanks Rick.

Just great service 8 days from first contact to passing my practical driving test. Within 24 hrs of booking my course my Practical driving test had been arranged and 8 Days later I had passed my driving test and completed my intensive driving course.
