5 star rating the staff are very helpfull am delighted with my toyota hilux that i brought 2 weeks ago was given a full valet rac warranty and a excellent rate on my finance package., will reccommend mansel motor uk ltd to anyone looking to purchase a quality used car.

DO NOT go anywhere near them.

I bought a used car from them and within 14 days it had developed a serious fault and was undriveable. Other faults also came to light upon examination such as cracked and corroded brake discs, faulty 4wd and discrepancies on the service record and MOT.

I called them to tell them that I wished to return the vehicle as it was undriveable, unsatisfactory and unsafe and they became abusive stating that I was entitled to S**T from them and i could F**K off and do what I liked.

I am currently seeking recourse via trading standards & my credit card company under The Sale Of Goods Act and Consumer Credit Act respectively.

Believe the bad reviews and save yourself months of trouble, grief, upset and inconvenience and look elsewhere. Anyone that has actually BEEN to this place can see that the good reviews on here are quite possibly written by the staff.

So wish I had found this site BEFORE I purchased !!!

I honestly strongly reccomend mansel motors to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle. They have a fantastic range of vehicles friendly and polite staff. I brought my wifes mercedes clk frome them and i was given a rac warranty, and 7 day aviva drive away insurence  they were very hospitable frome the moment we arrived. the car was described as it was over the phone we travelled from about 200 miles away and the mercedes was just wot we had been searching for. THANK YOU VERY MUCH EXCELLENT STANDARD! keep up the good work.

I would strongly recommend that no-one buys from this company. They are sharks. I was told the mileage was less than it was. I wanted to pay the deposit by credit card but they refused. I should have realised then that they weren't a good company to deal with. I hadn't had the car a month when I had major problems and the warranty that they supplied wasn't worth the paper it was written on. I took them to the small claims court but they didn't turn up. I incurred more expense with bailiffs but they went into liquidation and then re-opened the next day trading under the same name. Be very wary and look elsewhere for a good car with complete and honest service records. I've since had more problems and have just paid out another £3,000 on the car 

Jason recently brought my bmw x5 diesel sport from Mansel Motors am delighted with the car came with RAC warranty, Honestly when looking around i found that the staff and premises were very proffesional, i must have seen 4 or 5 bmw x5, there vehicle was the best example that i had seen. it came with a full vallet and some tax. The best used car forecourt in birmingham.

I went to many garages to buy my first ever car and mansel motors was the best there service was excellent the sale reps were so usefull and helpful they made it easy for me to choose , the car I bought is in very good condition and I am so pleased and I shall carry on buying cars from them in the future also I recommend this garage to all 

STAY AWAY from these people. They are liers and absolutly out to rip you off. I had a car from them which cost £4500. The tyres were worn which i replaced which was fine as the milage was high. Unfortunatly within six weeks of purchasing the vehicle and doing less than 300 miles several problems appeared.

Two shockers had leaked
anti roll bar had broken
Engine light came on
DPF Light came on and the engine switched into limp mode.

I asked them for help and spoke with trading standards who said i was entitled to reject the car but i have to park it up. With no money to buy another car and my disabled daughter having to attend multiple appointments this was not an option. I south to repair the car which i took to Mazda for there proffessional opinion. They were very helpful. But just to get the engine out of limp mode would cost £1300 just for the part. The all the other thing plus labour made this new purchase very stressful and a complete disaster.

All Mansel motors offered to do was to get someone round to turn off the engine light for £20. Which i would have to pay.

I eventually got the car fixed through a garage. It cost £300 for the bits on the car to be repaired and another £400 for the dfp filter to be removed and the engine remapped. This obviously not done by Mazda as it would cost to much. They were very unhelpful and told me the car was mine and i had to sort it.

The shoddy warrenty the gave me didnt cover it but they told me to find a garage that would lie on the invoice so i could claim the money back.


PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER!!!!!

Arrived at the premises was very impressed by the quality of stock they were selling. the staff were very pleasent and polite. purchased my new Toyota Yaris, was given a Rac warranty and Aviva 7 days insurance. As a first time buyer i was delighted with the experience. will defiently recommed family and friends to buy from mansel motors.

I would to warn anyone about this car dealer. Please clear of them. I travelled from Bristol to see a car advertised by them on Auto Trader after I had spoken to them on the phone. They are deceitful and cannot be trusted.
The guy I was dealing with is called Atif. If you have to deal with them please make sure anything they tell you is written down. Make sure you scrutinise any document they show you very carefully.
I made the mistake of believing what they told me over the phone and paid them a deposit. Wrong move!B
The mileage on the clock was different from what I was told over the phone. Admittedly I should have watched the mileage on the clock when I went to view the car but I was convinced they were telling the truth after asking them several times but they assured me The mileage was not a problem.
The finance company I was dealing with declined to lend the money as from their checks the car has travelled more miles than I was led to believe.
This rogue car dealership also refused to give back the deposit. Trading standards are aware of this and they are being investigated.

Please, please, please be extremely cautious when dealing with Mansel Motors.

FANTASTIC DEALERSHIP- RECENTLY PURCHASED AN S CLASS MERCEDES AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE. VERY HELPFUL, COURTEOUS, HONEST AND DEDICATED TEAM WHO DID EVERYTHING. SAW THE CAR OVER THE INTERNET, LIKED IT WITHOUT SEEING IT, WAS ADVISED THAT THE CAR IS MINT. PAID A DEPOSIT AND VISITED GARAGE LATER IN THE WEEK. CAR WAS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED, IT WAS PERFECT, CANNOT FAULT THE EXPERIENCE . WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU USING THIS GARAGE !!

I would like to WARN everyone !!! Don’t buy anything from them !!!! Recently bought a vehicle. Then three days later had a gearbox fault. Told Mansell, they said they would fix it. Had car for two weeks. Would not tell me where the car was ? Which garage ect. Finally found out. Went to look at car, GUESS WHAT ! stuck in a corner no work done !!!! told Mansell motors. Few days later they said car fixed. Did not trust them, so took to Driver Transmissions in Moseley for second opinion. As I came out from talking to them, GUESS WHAT !! My car stuck in reverse as a automatic. This was the original problem. Driver Trans gave me and my baby a lift home. Again no car. Told Mansell. They said thay would collect car to fix. If not done by thurs would refund. They did not collect car. Come thurs texted to say oHH car booked in for following Monday !!!! Not on. Husband then had to stop being to nice. We demanded a refund !!!! Finally they agreed for us to return car and gave us a chq !!!!! to balance their books they said !!! Ha Ha. They took debit card payment of us !!! We gave car got them to sign paper to say returned. Then for a week, waited for chq to clear. When my husband asked it will clear ??? Mr Mansell said, well if it does not, what are you going to do, look at my face !!!!. Cheeky or what. Thank God !!! It cleared !!! Miracle. we cashed waited two more days to be safe. Now I have bought a lovely car from a lovely honest man. Never buy from these people. Trading standards don’t help. System is rubbish. Always pay at least the deposit by credit card. For protection. MANSELL MOTORS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF. Kids had just gone back to school. so no car had to rely on others for school runs, evan shopped online with asda !!!! for 5-6 weeks. THEY ARE A JOKE. STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!!!!! Wish I had checked the reviews first !!!! HOPE THIS HELPS !!!!!!

Recently bought a BMW from this dealership. The staff were very helpful, courteous and very knowledgable. I would strongly recomend that anyone looking to purchase a vehicle visit this dealership first. The cars are well presented and I found I was under no pressure to come to a decision. I was offered a very good part exchange deal on my old BMW. And for my own peace of mind I was given a comprehensive RAC warranty.

I would strongly advise against purchasing ANYTHING from this garage. Was told information, including mileage, over the phone. Left a deposit as was travelling from Dorset - turned up to purchase and the car had 45000 MORE miles than was told!! Was then charged £300 of the deposit for 'getting it ready costs'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have contacted Birmingham Trading Standards to inform them of how this company considers it acceptable to do business. Am disgusted and very upset by their refusal to be reasonable in any way!

Great selection of quality used cars never had a problem would honestly reccommend any one to buy cars from this garage very honest and helpfull guys keep up the great work all vehicles are 1/2 owners with a full service history no stories just great used cars at affordable prices best used car garage will be going again soon very pleased with the car i brought

Awful car dealership, Will strongly second the review written by ardshell. Since buying this car have had nothing but problems. The "warranty" is not worth the paper that it is written on.

The car was bought at e beginning of the year, and so far I have spent the best part of £3000 fixing this, which added onto the original price, I could have bought a much newer car with far less mileage.

When contacting them at the time of the first problem, i was told not to worry, this cost me 2000 and since have encountered more problems.

If you want to learn from my mistakes, go elsewhere. This is an honest review and i cannot stress enough. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE

Bought a car from these unhelpful people and the clutch went within 1 week of owning it, gives you a 3rd party warranty with the car so they dont have to get involved with repairing it. The "warranty" didnt cover the clutch so I got a £900 bill to pay myself. Not interested in trying to help you out and rude on the phone. Got told to spray WD40 on a Hydraulic clutch !!
